I was told by the powers at Jasper and Silsbee that this rivalry will start back up next season. Fran is correct, former Jasper Head Coach Morgan was the one who decided not to continue playing Silsbee. Lot's of Jasper folks were very upset (along with many Silsbee folks). The Jasper supt. actually called to apologize and tried to work things out but the schedules were already set. Coach Barbay will get Silsbee back on Jasper's schedule.
