I have a question. What is the grievance filed in regards to the girls athletic program about? It is the first item on the agenda tonight.

Orangefield (2-8) last played on March 17th and was beaten by Beaumont Kelly 9-3. Silsbee (10-4) #6 this week in the SETX polls, also last last played on March 17th and got a win over Danbury, 3-1. Jasper's success in baseball, basketball and track this season has nothing to do with Morgan being AD. The basketball team (along with the football team) benefited from being in a very weak district. The baseball team has been successful for many years.

The board is meeting behind close doors on this matter but has scheduled a meeting for the public to attend and discuss on April 16. The word is that Morgan will finish out the school year but the board has to look into the fact of Morgan breaking contract.
