Just to let everyone know and particularly Tiger fans, Silsbee will have 6 home games this season and not the normal 5. We here at SETXsports had the LCM/Silsbee game at LCM but found out today that the game is actually in Silsbee. We have corrected our schedules on both previews and the schedule threads.

Tell it like it is Dickie V!!!! [Hidden Content] Just a little tidbit from Vitale's article: The time has come ... Let's cut the nonsense out of college basketball recruiting. The sport has been hurt by what has become a joke. What has transpired in the world of recruiting is unhealthy and taking a toll on a number of programs. I have talked to a number of coaches, and they have spoken off the record about the incidents transpiring in summer basketball and the world of the AAU teams ruling the highly regarded players. Many of the coaches in these programs are peddling their players to the highest bidder. What happened to the good old days when the high school coach was important? When recruiting was done with high school coaches involved, it was really done the right way. Right now, college basketball recruiting has become a cesspool. It's getting to the point where you are embarrassed to be part of the game.

Lucked out and got a room at a brand new Quality Inn and Suites that opens in November. They are taking reservations right now. Got a king room for just $80 a night. Just 5 miles from the Drum!! Every other hotel I looked at was at least $199 or more a night from that close proximity. My hotel is right next door to Papasitas and Papadeaux's, across from Highland Mall.

USA just defeated Nigeria 156-73, to set the all time scoring high in Olympic history with the 156 points. USA was 29 of 46 from 3 point land, 63%!!!!! They were also 81% from two pointers!! Unbelievable!! Melo set the all time scoring high for a US player by scoring 37, 9 of 11 from 3 point land.

I plan on being at a scrimmage that morning in Woodville.

I consider "thugs" to be criminals, regardless of color. One can be "white trash" and not be a criminal.
