Silsbee -23

I'm still confused with all this mess. It seems the player for Silsbee girls and player for WO-S boys were never ineligible to begin with. smh

LC-M will definitely have more than 20-25 fans.

So I guess Jasper and Liberty should be ranked ahead of HJ.

All this was done. Silsbee played their starters 1st Q, did not press and played zone defense in 2nd half. 3rd string played the bulk of the 2nd half. H-F players and their parents made comments to Silsbee's team about how classy they were. As you see, the assistant coach took it upon himself to go to social media and express how classy Silsbee was in this game. I'll take the word of those involved over someone who hasn't a clue about what happened in this game.

Give us some examples of ways to prevent a team from being embarrassed? Keep in mind that the opposing coaching staff in this game was very adamant about wanting no "sympathy" play from Silsbee in neither game.

There was a running clock in 2nd half in this game.

Funny but this spoof may bring back some bad memories for some certain WO-S fans.

Huge win for Lamar men's basketball. Just beat SFA 76-54! Congrats Cards!

I just hope this is the beginning of a very good 2 month run. To say I have been very disappointed in the season so far is an understatement.

Reason why there is a mercy rule in baseball because it is not a timed sport like football and basketball. Some of those games would never end. Running clock in 2nd half should be used more often in these cases.

Well, looks like I heard wrong. It seems Yoe has a week 6 game. Oh well.

Martinsville beat Burkeville last night in district, 86-5.

Here are my rankings for the week of Feb. 4: 6A-4A 1. PA Memorial 2. West Brook 3. Silsbee 4. Humble 5. North Shore 6. Atascocita 7. Bmt. Central 8. Crosby 9. Deer Park 10. Bmt. Ozen 11. LC-M 12. Porter 13. Shepherd 14. Nederland 15. Hardin-Jefferson 3A-Private 1. East Chambers 2. Tenaha 3. Big Sandy 4. Pollock Central 5. Central Heights 6. Leggett 7. Shelbyville 8. Pineywoods 9. Grapeland 10. Kountze 11. Evadale 12. Newton 13. San Augustine 14. Coldspring 15. Martinsville

Cameron Yoe needs a week 6. I like that match up better for Silsbee

Hush yo mouth. Silsbee needs a week 6 game. Yoe/Silsbee would be good.

Good question.

I never really go by JV scores for varsity success the following season, but just for discussion: This past season Silsbee JV 48 WO-S JV 0
