AP's mom got a job down here, moved to Silsbee the summer of AP's senior year. AP worked out with Silsbee team that summer and planned on enrolling at Silsbee HS. Coaches and friends back in Palestine talked him into staying and he lived with a friend his senior year. AP's dad was in prison at the time.

You were not the only one. A few other Mustang fans keep pointing to the week 4 game against Silsbee. Silsbee plays bye in week 4.

Episcopal was a terrible match up for Ozen. PAM would have been a better match up for those guys but in the end, Episcopal dominates any of the other teams at Classic other than maybe Bishop Dunne. Ozen was the weakest team of the six and maybe should play a Baytown Sterling, New Caney, Humble, or Barbers Hill type team to start season. Not a juggernaut like Episcopal. Just my two cents
