  1. Haven't you guys figured it out yet? Dove is anti popo. But he will say he is anti establishment.
  2. So, you took the "bait"?
  3. Can't see why anyone would want to defend Jessie Haynes. C'mon people, move on.
  4. Still there. Bryant will be assistant.

  7. Yes. McMurry also wanted him to play football. It was my understanding he was going to be looking to play either sport in the transfer.
  8. McMurry no longer has scholarships. He had to transfer. Not sure where or if he has transferred.
  9. tu did not mess up. I think ESPN did.
  10. I do not believe that is a fair comparison. 11 Saturdays out of the year compared to a 24 hour, 7 days a week channel. Not even close. NBC cannot lose money on that deal. College football rules. Now, if they broadcast every day Notre Dame, that is a different story. Again, I believe ESPN over extended themselves, but what do I know, I am just a lowly, uneducated, poor little aggie. Can never match up with the rich, silver spoon t-sips.
  11. I never faulted tu for getting this channel deal. Kudos to them. IMO, ESPN got the raw end and will be paying dearly for it. Just don't think it was a very good business deal on their end.
  12. Coach Bryant has left Hamshire-Fannett for Crockett ISD. If memory is correct, the next head coach will be HF's 5th in last 7 seasons.
  13. This was a case of a tv station using the more familiar and known person to enhance the story. Holmes and Williams were only ticketed with a misdemeanor while Ballance was charged with a felony assault and robbery. Ballance was the one who slammed the person in the windshield and took the shoes. Holmes and Williams were present and left with Ballance. All guilty of wrong doing but the TV station chose to angle the story towards the known athletes.
  14. Huh? Just curious, what are those shows about?
  15. Like you and others have stated on here repeatedly, us Aggies lack the intelligence to understand higher intellect.
  16. Not really. Arkie football, Kentucky basketball, not the same. Like I said, one college = all sports. But that's just me being quirky.
  17. True and if they ever were to play each other, I want Silsbee to win significantly. My earlier point was mostly about college and pro. My mistake for not clarifying that point. I only own Silsbee, Texas A&M and Houston pro sports apparel. Those are who I choose to support from a money stand point. I want all our local high schools to be successful. I think I have shown that feeling over these past several years. BTW, I think the comparison of high school and the college/pro teams are a bit skewed. Not a fair comparison. Example, I can pull for and support Big Sandy and Newton to win state championships because I know that it would not effect my Tigers due to them not being in the same classification. Not the same with college and pro.
  18. Hearing a completely different story with this one. Waiting to see the outcome of this one.
  19. Recent sex offender.
  20. ON THE MONEY!!! Great post. It also doesn't help that the POTUS seems to "cherry pick" his views and support on these subjects. Got to give it to him, he plays the political game very well.
  21. Pick a school, stick with them. Thick and thin. I find it funny when people have a favorite college football team, a different favorite college basketball team and so on. I guess I am old school. I have one school, one pro city. I consider them my hometown teams. Silsbee, Texas A&M and Houston. Tigers, Aggies, Texans, Rockets and Astros. Bandwagoners = Lame Ok, off my soapbox. Carry on.
  22. He attends Silsbee elementary school. His mom works for school district.
  23. I know this young man's parents. From what I know, this young man will be a Silsbee Tiger all the way through his senior year. Sigler is waiting on him.
