  10. It's very hard for me to take anything you say with validity after you stated Ozen would beat Atascocita.
  11. Big Sandy and Kountze would not beat Ozen. Silsbee/Ozen would be a toss up. I'd give Silsbee a slight edge this year and a little more next year if they played.
  12. For Silsbee, personally I would rather them face Tatum than Hudson. Teams like Hudson sometimes gives Silsbee fits. I like Hudson in this game over Tatum. 66-61.
  13. Winner of this one gets winner of Silsbee/Houston Sterling in regional semis.
  14. Class 2A Region III Big Sandy vs. San Augustine Tuesday, March 1st 7pm Lufkin Hudson HS
  15. May not be great, but they are much better than they have been the past several seasons. But, I too would like to see them attack the basket more. I really have a problem with a player being 1-2 feet from basket, with open look, then kick it out to someone to shoot 3, then missing that shot 80% of the time. Not to get on any certain player, but Grubbs should have had 22-25 points last night but chose not to finish at rim but kick ball out to 3 point shooter. I know on two occasions he had ball to the rim then chose to pass it to corner. Just don't like those percentages.
  16. Bridgeport was the least of Silsbee's worries as far as state tourney is concerned. Dallas Lincoln, Carter, Madison along with Argyle, LaMarque, Brazosport, Abilene Wylie and Liberty Hill are better teams than Bridgeport.
