Uh, no it is not. In a playoff game the loser heads to the basketball court. Friday night's loser still has another football game to play. The most important one of the season thus far.

Leon the Lion goes extinct (till baseball season) when Anahuac falls to the lowly Bobcats. (during game, best athlete in district agent, LL, phoned down to sideline and request player to be taken out and saved for baseball)

Figured I would start this thread since one, I will be broadcasting this game and get to see up close and personal the best athlete in the district and second, that district championship thread of Anahuac/EC was a bust. In the 4A/3A GOW you had the game at Buccaneer Stadium in Winnie. I changed it. In the other listing you had it correct.

BTW, since it was me who put these together (our voting panel will start in a couple of weeks) I can take and appreciate any comments on these rankings. I may have missed on a couple but feel like it's a solid ranking.

That too. Seem like after a good gain or big play on offense, it was negated by a Silsbee penalty. I believe there were 5 holding calls and 3 personal fouls just on the offense.

Exactly My best guess is that HF converted at least 10 3rd down conversions and around 5 4th down conversions. Silsbee D could not get them off the field. Mustang D will.

After their 4-0 start it has to be United. Another team that started the season off well but will miss the playoffs is Tarkington. Really thought they were going to make the playoffs.
