  1. Kid that was shot died this morning
  2. and since we are talking about scorers, then one would have to add Buckley of Shelbyville and Doucette of LC-M to the list.
  3. Player was just mentioned (Perkins for Leggett) and Ceasar for East Chambers. Did not know that Perkins was averaging more than 30 though. Also Collins for Jasper and #10 for Huffman averages more than those 4 players you listed.
  4. I know 2 players not on this list that scores more points than #2-5
  5. Harmony 31 Hempstead 83
  6. Shelbyville 80 Joaquin 44
  7. For career points Bush passed Darryl McArthur. McArthur played for Silsbee from 1983-1986. Started all four years on varsity, was a 3 time all state player and a McDonald's All American his senior year. Bush is currently averaging 38 points a game. I am not aware of any other player in Southeast Texas that is averaging over 30 points a game.

  10. Pleasant Grove/Carthage canceled
  11. In real need of getting results for those first four games listed since they are district games. Personally would like to know the result of the PG/Carthage game so that I can do my rankings.
  12. Need results for these games from Friday, Jan 10.: Hemphill at Diboll Baytown Christian at Orange Community Christian Hull-Daisetta at Brookeland Fred Good Samaritan at Spurger Port Arthur Tekoa at High Island
  13. Happen to have a Harmony/Hempstead score?
  14. Nope. They are staying 4A
  15. He was not there. Out of town.
  16. I agree. Most times the "holding the ball" is to draw the defense out of a zone. I simply see it as an offensive strategy. Nothing wrong with that.
  17. Baytown Lee 60 Santa Fe 44
  18. Kind of like nobody wants to attend football games with the teams that never throw the ball? Coaching philosophies shouldn't be about game attendance. High school coaches mostly do not get to choose what type athletes he/she inherits. I am all for a coach to make decisions on what's best for his/her team to be successful and if it's to hold the ball, then so be it.
  19. I hope we never get a shot clock.
  20. This was a good game to broadcast. 10 lead changes and no team had a lead more than 6 points all night. Lumberton led after 1st 14-13, LC-M led at half 23-22, tied 37-37 at end of 3rd. LC-M's Doucette led all scorers with 22 points (11-15 from FT line)
  21. Aggieland Home School 34 Anderson-Shiro 41
  22. Final Orangefield 66 Kountze 69
