Both district games will be off campus. The United home game (tomorrow night) will be at Ford Arena and the West Brook home game (Friday Jan. 31) will be at Montagne Center. SETXsports will broadcast the Jan. 31 game.

I agree. Very temporary. United will be back in 6A next realignment. It's still hard to fathom that United basically lost a 3A school in enrollment in 1 year.

Wasn't the same week. Ned tourney was week before HJ tourney. Anahuac tourney was same week as HJ. Lumberton played Big Sandy, HJ and Woodville tourney's last year. Played Nederland, Anahuac and Woodville tourneys this year.

McCain, Adams and Bush played 7th grade together. Bush played 8th at Legacy.

That's what concerns me with Lumberton. They only played 6 and that 6th man only played about 2 minutes in 2nd half (played some in 1st half). In fact, Lumberton did not make a substitution until the 5 minute mark of the 4th Q in 2nd half. This will probably cost the Raiders some wins.

I think his post was to correct me. I thought Silsbee only had two freshmen on varsity, not four. I stand corrected. Nothing really to do with BC. I would say the best two players are seniors (Bush, Martin). I do agree that next year will be the year to "get" Silsbee. But I did notice that Silsbee JV did beat BC JV by 40.

I agree that skill wise and size he should be top 5 in district. He should lead Lumberton in scoring every single game. I saw Lumberton play a few games last year and around 4-5 games this year. Coach Mitchel has to constantly get own him about effort. I will say that the last two games I have watched he has definitely improved in the effort department.
