  2. Personally, I can see this game being like the Silsbee at Bridge City game to start district.
  3. Just don't understand why so much "hate" on Hefner. It's like folks go out of their way to be a critic when it comes to him.
  4. Looking forward to broadcasting this game. Lot's of star power in this one.

Silsbee had the largest lead of the game (10, 64-54) HJ's largest lead was 3 (7-4). Silsbee led the entire 2nd half until HJ tied it 65-65 with 17 seconds left in game coming off an 11-1 run from the 3 minute mark.
  7. Or #10 La Marque, or #11 Connally, or #15 Waxahachie Life, or #22 Palestine or Mexia (who just beat Palestine) or Midlothian Heritage or Carthage or Jasper.
  8. Well since the 2nd game in 2015 was played at Silsbee which HJ won, then the win streak is currently 8 games for Silsbee.
  9. Was only his 2nd cut made this season and sure made the most of it.
  10. I need to shut up.
  11. Securing his 2nd win and another trip to Augusta. Not bad for a player who couldn't win the Silsbee MGA Invitational on 3 attempts.
  12. One would think a team with 2 McDonald's AA nominees would win just about every game.
  13. SETXsports will be there broadcasting this game.
  14. Going to watch today.
  15. Looking back at it, HJ got half their wins (four of the eight) in first two seasons. Since then only won 4 times in 24 games. Hawks went win less in series in 7 of those seasons (currently win less this season) while Silsbee has won at least 1 game every year in this series since 2007.
  16. Right, but not sure what location was played first. I think the game in Silsbee was first that season.
  17. This is the head to head since 2007: HJ SIL 2007 2 1 2008 2 2 2009 1 2 2010 1 2 2011 0 2 2012 1 1 2013 0 2 2014 0 2 2015 1 1 2016 0 2 2017 0 2 2018 0 1 2019 0 2 2020 0 1 tot 8 23 After the teams split the first 10 games, Silsbee has won 18 of 21 and has won the last 9. (not sure who won the first game in 2015, believe it was HJ)
  18. HJ was in the other district in '17 & '18 seasons.

  22. Been looking and asking all day.
  23. Last night made 8 straight.
  24. Oh, I almost forgot. Silsbee has now won 18 of the last 21 against Hardin-Jefferson.
