Well, regardless if they win or lose Saturday, I think he deserves a contract extension and around $120K a year. BISD shouldn't make this a revolving door. They found one good one, pay him appropriately to keep him. Now just find one for the other side of town...

Well Peabody is 14-3. Sounds like Maxpreps might be pretty close to where they should be. Maxpreps is not 100% accurate because all games are not entered into their system but it is the best we have besides human opinions...

Maxpreps has them ranked #29 in the nation and #3 in Louisiana so I guess I would still have to consider them a powerhouse.

I agree for the most part. Unless they have a total collapse, I'm not worried about them getting a playoff spot. The district title should be theirs to as long as they continue to do what they are doing, winning. It's just more about being recognized for the work that the coaching staff and young ladies have put in. Hey, if they don't get ranked all season but make it to San Antonio, I'd take that in a heart beat.

Updated for December 17th. It's funny that this poll doesn't have us anywhere on it at 17-0 but Maxpreps has us ranked at 22 in 6A.
