It's not a big deal to me this year fellows.  I know he has a lot to get ready for.  This will possibly be my first year buying season tickets and if I do, I don't want to be dissapointed with the on the court product. Now next summer, I'd like to see a summer camp...

I don't know if Tidwell hosted one during his first year.   I was working on my kids summer schedule which includes sports camps and noticed Lamar was not having one this year.

Noticed that Coach Knight has decided to not have a youth boys summer basketball camp at Lamar this year.  I guess he has a lot of other things to get headed in the right direction in his first off season with Lamar. [Hidden Content]

Scooter and PAM are just like the big bully in the school that picks with all the smaller kids in the school but when they meet a bully of equal size from another school, they don't have anything to say and don't show up... Central starts 2011 off with a win over PAM...

Soulja, why was a Senior starter missing?  Or are you saying he was there but just didn't play well?

Congratulations lil' cousin on the award and at SFA.  A few years from now, some of that same blood line will be hitting the fields for BISD.  So stay tuned you'll!

I've got a list of players in the Kirbyville Banner this week. Looks interesting! Another player from Kirbyville is Deon Ford. KHS Class of 2000, I believe. That is correct about Deon...

Now that college signing day has finally arrived.  My question is are the ballots for the Smith Award cast before today or after today?  Just wondering cause if they are cast before today it will probably be fair but if after a players signing is announced it may not be if some of the voters feel shuned and don't like the players college of choice.  Just wondering...

Utterly disappointed!!!  Happy for him that he can continue his education but I'm still buying those season tickets to Lamar.  If we play SFA here then I'll see him play, otherwise...

[/quote] Yea, I read that as well.  I think i could deal with the 3 year rotation.  Not going to make it to Dallas but if it was in Houson, I would make that trip and spend the weekend even if I didn't have a team playing.  So I'm all for them purchasing the turf and starting a 3 year rotation. 

Can't read the article but I believe they should use a 3 year rotation between the Alamodome in San Antonio, Reliant in Houston and Texas in Dallas.  All will be in doors so not affected by the weather and in different parts of the state each year.
