How was the sophomore's off season?...lol
Well Barbers Hill didn't even get a first down.  My son who plays Safety didn't even get a chance to make a tackle cause the D-Line and LB's kept them smothered.  The offense had to take a knee several times so they wouldn't go over the 40 point rule.
 2. Last years TIFI Freshman Superbowl Champions, Sophomores Bulls 33 Eagles 0
 3. Freshman... Eagles 25 Bulls 13
 4. Flag... Bulls 18 Eagles 0
 5. Good luck to all 5 levels of the Beaumont Bulls today as we travel to play the Barbers Hill Eagles.  A speacial shout out goes to last years freshman team that are now sophomores that won the Super Bowl.  Bring It!
 6. At least West Brook schedules "up" unlike PAM always looking for the easy pre district wins...
 7. Hey, tell them to hold the kick off up until you'll get the internet working!  :D
You never give the NDNS credit for anything. We'll bring it and then some! I played 5A football and there's not that much difference between 4A and 5A. Heck, there are 4A schools that would whip the floor with the Titans. Just saying ::)
I agree SFA85, play schools that are your size or bigger Memorial.  Yea its good for the area but it really doesn't prepare you for district and the playoffs.  PAM is just like a bully, always wanting to play the smaller schools...(Central, Ozen, Alice) and now PNG...

I hate to admit it, but I do see Memorial making a deep run.
Last time we played Dayton, the score was 20-0 in Dayton.
I must be thinking about the blocked extra point the year before...

 14. Saturday September 10 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Will launch from under Hwy 73 bridge on Taylors Bayou.  Entry fee is $40 and $10 for the big bass per boat.  Weigh scale will be provided.  Pay at the ramp when you sign in.  You can call Richard @ 409-273-4861 if you have any questions.  This is a 100% pay back tournament.  Pay breakdown depends on number of boats.  Thanks and hope to see there.
 15. 14 boats...$700 paid out...winning 5 fish weight was 11 lbs 11 oz by Gerald Hull and John Solomon.  They also had the big bass which was 3 lbs 9 oz.
 16. LaMarque has a program.  Looks like they are just breed big and fast athletes that are DEDICATED year round and not seasonal like ours.
 17.

I've just left eh scrimmage.  My major concern is our o-line.  They wouldn't block to save their lives.  LaMarque's D was in our backfield early and often.  They were hitting hard.  Our offense couldn't get a tempo going.  Our defense will be our strong point.  We were hitting hard on Defense as well.  Our D-Line inpressed me.  We did the best we would against an offense with 2 4 year starters.  Those guys are good!  All and all, We did 'ok' to be playing against a State Runner up team.  I look for progress agains a Memorial team that will feature pretty much the same thing we've just seen today.  A good RB with a Good QB.
I thought Wright didnt play today. If so that would be one four year starter (the QB). The RBs you saw were his backups.  ;D
:o :o :o :o
There was a Coog dad talking to us that said they wanted to test their dept at RB.  I think it passed!
 18. Coogs 3 Jags 0.  Wright didnt even suit.  Didn't want to risk the injury.
 19. Coogs drive lenghth of field and score...
 20.
Is Tim Wright out there as RB, do you know?
Dont know.  They are not wearing numbers.
 21. Central D stiffens up.  No TD's.  Jags back on O...Mitchell not in the game.
 22. Coogs no huddle offense looking like a well oiled machine...rollin'.  QB has a high football IQ.
 23. Central on D now.  1st play Coogs go deep for 60you yards...
