1. Beaumont Central Jaguars... 1. PA Memorial Titans (Big on numbers and a bunch of athletes, depends on coaching) 2. West Brook Bruins (They have just had our number the last couple of years but Reyes is gone) 3. Livingston Lions (Jaguars D has struggled with their style of offense over the last couple of years) 4. PN-G Indians (Once again, I predict this game will be for the district championship, but Doty is gone) 5. Vidor Pirates (Like Livingston, their offense has really tested Centrals D the last couple of years) 6. Nederland Bulldogs (The Dogs D is supposed to be stacked this year, but we have owned them the last couple of years) 7. Ozen (Coach Nelson is going to turn this around, just give him time.  Probably in 3A next year with low numbers) 8. Galveston Ball Tors (Have a new coach, new motivation but we should come through in this one) 9. LC-M Bears (Last year was their year to beat us.  They didn't do it and it won't happen this year) 10. Lumberton Raiders (3 year miracle run is over.  Somebody has to be the cellar dwellar)
 2. All 3 of the QB's that are battling for the number 1 spot or right handed right?  Give Oden a 1 strike policy and put him at Left Tackle to protect our guys blind side.
 3. I wouldn't have a problem with the name change.  All it would mean is that Memorial would start the season off with a loss at "Da Bubba" instead of at "Da Butch"... ;D
 4.

Burman has not showed up and most likely will not be in Kville.  Jacko leaving is just a rumor and he is at Kville practice right now and will be a Wildcat this year!
Thanks for clearing this up  8)
Good deal as for Jacko still being a Wildcat.  As for you Jaguar Lover ( Mr. Buddy Garrity as you call yourself) be thankful that we are not getting one of those country boys to lay the wood to your pretty boys from PA... 8)
Burman is just as quick as Lafredrick Ford....i personally felt like this year could have been the year for him to shine. Hopefully he come back and pack the rock with several other young studs this year.
???

 7. Just a question.  I read on the Kirbyville team preview thread that Quinton Jacko transferred to Central.  Is this true or just a joke?
 8. Everyone is overlooking Central's running game.  I promise you at the end of the season the Jaguars will have someone in not only the top 5 but top 3 as a running back and I'm not talking about Robert Mitchell the QB... 8)
 9. WOW!!!  Good pick ups and keep up the good work Coach Hobbs.  Pretty soon the football team will over shadow the basketball team over there, I know a coach that won't like that...

Nice little run by Ford until he came up limping.  Hope it's just a cramp!
Anybody have any info. on Ford. Did he pull a hammy or just cramp up??
Tweaked a hammy but he'll be ok.  Stayed out of the game cause there was no need to risk any further injury.
 13.
Just saw Fred on the sideline....No pads with ice on his hammy....SFA isn't going to be pleased with that!
Thats why I'm not a fan of any of the All-Star games.  You already have your scholarship, so your next carries should be at the college level, not still high school...
 14.
good lawd that 9-5A D2 district would be absolutely sick!  :o
Sounds like it scares you... 8)

 17.
Scrimmage - LaMarque- We already scrimmage them every year.  They are a great team so what other way to gage your team than against them...  Plus payback from 2006.. ;D West Brook - Keep the rivalry going...  Good for the playets, fans, and comunity.  Plus, you an never go wrong against stiff 5a competition. Dayton - All I have to say is that we have not forgotten!   ;) Frienswood - One of the better coached teams that we've played. Plus payback.  Our Boys will be up for it.  No better way to go into the bye week before district than with an emotional hype!
I totally agree.  My only difference would be if Dayton were to be back in our district then I wouldn't mind seeing Houston Yates, Barbers Hill, WO-S or Little Elm where Stowers went to.
 18. 7 boats...$350 paid out...winning 5 fish weight was 10 lbs 9 oz by Jeffrey Purks, big bass was 3 lbs 15 oz both by Brady Romero and Gary Romero.
 19.
We may very well start out at 1-2 but we know we will be there in the end when it counts...
 20. 10 boats...$500 paid out...winning 5 fish weight was 15 lbs 8 oz by J.R. Webster and Dustin Tiley, big bass was 5 lbs by Nick Green and John Hummel.
