[/quote] I don't see them at that level yet.  But we have a better QB in the backfield now then when O'Neal and Daw where in the backfield for a better 1-2-3 punch!

I didn't read all the previous post but Soulja let me know which game you decide and I'll go too.  The Jags are off so its our only free Friday.  I was originally going to go see Legacy because of my old ties to the school but that game won't even competitive in my opion.  My family is from Kirbyville but Fred graduated last year and they're not ready for Bridge City.  So let me know what you decide as long as I can wear my Jaguar stuff...

Ozen came to play in the first half last year but fell short in the second half.  Repeat of last year... And Jags have the better half time performance too.

I agree, Legacy vs Deweyville would be a good test for the Warriors.  Somebody get on the horn and make it happen.  I'd make them play in Beaumont though. ;D

I must agree, growing up I had an image that wasn't pretty nice.  Central use to be one of those that scheduled the Pirates for homecoming.  Now, i really hate playing Vidor for a different reason.  Our last couple of games against them have been some real close and great games.  They seem to be one of the teams that really gives us fits.  And Central loosing to Vidor in basketball!  Use to be unheard of.  Not anymore. I had the pleasure of meeting Coach Matthews in my first year over at Legacy a couple of years back.  Before meeting him I thought he would be one way but after talking to him and him helping us out over there, I have a totally different view.  Prejudicy still exist, but I view that school and town in a totally different manner now.  I have read where some of the Vidor fans don't want him anymore.  If he ran a different type of offense, i would gladly take him as our OC now or if we ever had a HC vacancy.  The grass isn't always greener...

I didn't make it to the Memorial game but I did notice him on the sideline against Brook.  If Robert is more comfortable that way then fine.  I think his younger brother should be a full time WR, cause he is going to make those catches and with his size and speed should be a missmatch.  I was always told that a reciever that can't catch should be on defense.  Just a thought and not that it really matters but seems like the majority of our recievers are short while those at Brook have some height. I do agree in that some slants, screens and bootlegs would be nice. Jags go on 8 game winning streak into the playoffs... ;)

[/quote] Oh yea, they were undefeated.  Thats what happens when you play a soft non-district schedule and your district is weak.  You'll were not battle tested.  We didn't even win our district that year.
