  1. The Interim is from Beaumont...
  2. No need to wonder, I'll give it to you... Coach Washington 2009 9-4 Overall, 7-3 Regular, 2-1 playoffs. 3rd place in district that year. 2010 8-4 Overall, 7-3 Regular, 1-1 playoffs. District Champs that year. 2011 2-8 Overall 2012 3-7 Overall Anymore questions? Well your expectations on the WB/Central game is totally different than mine. You ever heard the phrase "size doesn't matter"? Well in this case, it doesn't. All I will say is Central 21 West Brook 12 with 8 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter...
  3. DJ, I'm not taking any shots or bashing Foreman. Me posting his final numbers is just a fact and something I have always done in a coaching change since I joined this board years ago. Now I can give you more numbers than you can comprehend if that's what you want. Yes he did a great job in assisting kids get to college but I think the next man will do the same in that category. Nobody is bashing the next assumed coach because I doubt he will be applying for other jobs every year for one and most want him to have the job, including myself...
  4. Stepping stone? Maybe that's why they should have given it to the guy who actually went to school there, is from Beaumont and would probably be there long term if successful...
  5. Not the way for my old high school Austin Lanier (9th & 10th) to make Sportscenter...
  6. Congratulations Jags...
  7. Some of Foreman's final numbers... Overall 23-21 Non-District 3-8 District 20-9 West Brook 0-4 Playoffs 0-4
  8. I think it's a good pick...
  9. Should have been this match-up in round 2 of the football season...
  10. Yea, he had them going in the right direction with discipline and long playoff runs. I wonder if he knows his old job is open again...
  11. He never actually sent out a email stating he was taking the job at Woodville. He sent out an email to all staff the other day confirming that he was taking the Shoemaker job...
  12. Yea Stowers and Nelson...
  13. Yea Stowers and Nelson...
  14. He had another year left on his current contract...
  15. Not many of us would stay at our current jobs if another job was offering you almost a $25K raise, despite it coming with more responsibility...
  16. Well to be honest, yet not to bash, most have no problem with him leaving. Some said they are glad to see him go. Me, after year 2 when he applied for the Cleveland job, I didn't want him to go. After year 3 when he applied for the Woodville job, I didn't want him to go. Good guy, players coach, not what Central needs. Good guy, authority figure who demands respect from his players is what is needed...imo. Wish him the best... You are correct about the playoffs. 0-4. Should have gotten past the 1st round for sure the last 2 years...
  17. I doubt it. I don't see either position being filled until the AD spot is filled. I do see the Bruins and Jaguars being coached next year by someone that is already on their current staffs. My opinion, stay away from outsiders, because most are just looking for a platform to somewhere else...
  18. Can't say for sure but more than likely it will be in house, one who has previous experience as HC, that wants to be there...
  19. I guess you can add it to the carousel now...
  20. He'll be the 3rd coach in 3 years there, maybe he can turn it around...
  21. Not from me, I'll only state facts like record, results, etc. I called this back in January on another thread but just kept quiet for the sake of the program and the kids. Wish him the best. Just glad it happened sooner rather than later so that the next staff can be put into place with ample time. And you can't blame a man for wanting to get closer to his family and be able to make over $20K more a year while doing it...
  22. It just went official, he is gone. He accepted the Killeen Shoemaker job...
