1. The secret to being happy as a man.... Let you lady maintain her fiction.   Let the lady "believe" she is smarter than you, and happiness will ensue.
2. Do you hear the vacuum suction sound in Seattle?   It is the sound of many businesses getting the hell out of dodge.  Raising minimum wage will only increase the prices you pay for the service.  If you are an adult trying to make it at McDonald's on minimum wage then when you were young and at school you made choices that put you there.
3. Been a long time since I posted, but Wednesday was a Mount Rushmore day of my career as an educator. At the 2014 George Ranch HS Spring Athletic Banquet I presented the first ever ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF scholarship.   It is amazing how my life has been blessed, and how hard it still is at times to know what I left at Dayton, but I know without a doubt my future potential at George Ranch is greater.   Look for the Toups Graphics website to return this fall to post commentary on the top 5A football games in Region III.  Looks like the west side of Houston will be loaded next year with George Ranch, Elkins, and Ridge Point fielding good teams.   Also in the beginning stages of writing a book on how to teach others to "Always Believe", this came after about three of my student parents emailed  encouraging me to do this.   I have had an amazing year, my students are among the top test scorers on their benchmark tests in all of Lamar CISD (which has four high schools), I gave away an "Always Believe" Scholarship, one of the campers at Camp Cayuga Face Book messaged me and told me she had an English assignment to write about their hero, and that she would write the paper about me, because whenever she was sad she could always think about my positive attitude, and I can not count the number of amazing parent emails I have had on my impact of their kids.   Miss all of you on the east side of Houston, but at least with this site, I can stay in touch.   ALWAYS BELIEVE Mr. Toups
4. WOW!!!!  Wonder if they will change to the name of BISD's new stadium so named after the guy who oversaw all the corruption?
5. This week I was given the green light to produce Friday Night Lights George Ranch Longhorns.  I even have a few fans at my new school who knew of my toupsgraphics website.  I will keep the SETX fans up to date on football along the banks of the Brazos.  Today I was introduced to the starting QB.  Seemed to be a great kid.  The booster club has contacted me and wants me to be at there next meeting.  Good luck to all your teams this season.  I am in a very good place here in Fort Bend County.  LIFE IS GOOD!
6.

I know this a SE Texas forum, but could somebody please post the prediction for 23-4A? Just curious to see where Angleton is predicted on a supposedly down year for them coming up. Thanks.
1. Angleton 2. George Ranch 3. Rosenberg Terry 4. Richmond Foster 5. Lamar Consolidated 6. Freeport Brazosport 7. Bay City
George Ranch at #2, wow. Might be an interesting district to follow.
George Ranch is my new home.  The George Ranch booster club already is following me on Twitter and Coach Tullos knows of me through my website.  Hopefully my Friday Night Lights will continue, but just moved to the banks of the Brazos.
7. No matter where I am, SETX is home.  Don't know if my percentage of correct predictions stays in the high 70%, but I will be predicting the district games for 19 and 20 4A.
8. School is over and I would like to update this post.  I got the phone call from the HR department at Lamar CISD confirming my hiring as an algebra teacher at George Ranch High School.  I will be leaving this week to go to my summer job in the Pocono's of Pennsylvania.  My Bronco hoofs will be put on Longhorns and my purple changed to maroon, which means a name change for me at this website when I come back from Camp Cayuga.  With Coach Tullos ( the head coach of George Ranch ) knowing of my past and what I did for the kids of Dayton, hopefully my believe message will once again appear on Friday Night Lights, but it will be along the bank of the Brazos.  I will continue to post my FEARLESS PREDICTIONS on this website every Thursday morning, but my toupsgraphics site will no be updated with Friday Night Lights action.  I won't to think all my "fans" for going to my site to read my stuff (about 10,000 hits each Friday), and for this website for letting me link my website and highlights.  I guess it paid off with my new job, as it appears as Coach Tullos was one of my "fans".  God bless to all of you and good luck to your favorite high school football team this fall.
9. All my paper work is now in the Lamar CISD human resource office.  Just waiting for a phone call to confirm my hiring as an Algebra teacher at George Ranch HS.  In regards to previous comments...  With Coach Tullos knowledge of my website the Friday Night Lights just might continue, but the Bronco hoofs will be put on a longhorn and unfortunately the purple will be faded to maroon.  I'm sure there will be more Sonic commercials with my son.  My life is all about kids and making them BELIEVE they can succeed.  This upcoming year I will make educational Algebra tutorial videos, I have been told by many to keep a low profile my first year and listen and learn.  It is brutal to leave a place that has become like family and all I am to so many every Friday Night in the fall.  I won't be a stranger to this site come the fall.
10. Big day for PUPRLE4EVER.  Went to the Lamar CISD job fair last Saturday and the head coach at George Ranch (Ricky Tullos) knows of me.  The principal and math department head were impressed with my resume.  I have an interview today at George Ranch High School.  With Coach Tullos knowing of my past, my Friday Night Lights just might continue.
11. Here is a video I made to say good bye... [Hidden Content] It's about 6 minutes long, but it is powerful.
12. This week it is official.... From my toupsgraphics website. FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS Toups Graphics would like to thank all of his "fans" over the last half decade as they have come to this site to read my "Fearless Predictions" and view my "Power Rankings". With the passing of my father in December of 2012, I have been led in my spiritual relationship with God to move by my sister in Katy, TX. Moving away from a commmunity that has become like family is one of the toughest things I have done, but I know the next chapter in my life will be just as impactful. Good luck to all the teams in South East Texas and never stop BELIEVING in the kids that make Friday Night LIghts in Texas have MORE POWER! This week I turned in my resignation letter.  I am leaving so much (including the many "fans" I have from this website.  I have had many interviews in Katy ISD, but it is very competitive (and I haven't interviewed in over 2 decades).  If any of you know of a principal or assistant principal in a Katy JH or HS, I would appreciate if you could give me a reference for the impact I will have on their school. I would like to thank SETX sports . com for letting me link my page on this site, and from the number of hits on my website, I know many of you read my "opinions" and maybe even got a chuckle or two.  This fall I will spend my time manking tutorial videos for 6th Math to Algebra I.  If you have a kid in these grades, my site will be an excellent resource for tutoriing. From what it looks like there is only one JH in Katy that is Purple and White. Good luck to your teams this fall, I will miss all of you.
13. I will try to update my site soon.  Computer shopping now.  Good luck to the Bulldogs on Friday.  My dad is doing well and will be placed in a nursing home with rehab this week.  So much to do when you start taking care of your parents.  Thanks for the prayers.  They were felt.
14. Update...  Horrible break...  Gas valve to furnace had to be replaced.  $$$. Step sons car needed repairs $$$  my dad fell on Thanksgiving day and broke his hip.  Power went out on Saturday in my area and toasted my computer.  My 1 & 3 predictions seem irrelevant now.  I will update my website as soon as I can.  Congrats to Nederland.  Please keep my Dad in your prayers.  He is doing good.  Probably about 50 50 he will be in a wheel chair after rehab.  Lots of round trips to Beaumont in my near future.
15. On my website... "The Broncos made a choice in December of 2010 of who would back up senior QB Andres Herrera in 2011. That choice would haunt the Broncos during the 2012 season. Inconsistent QB play terminates the Bronco season in a three game offensive slide into oblivion. The Broncos return five sophomore "real deal" athletes for the 2013 season, and will be a force to be reckoned with." Dayton made a choice of QB two years ago, and it didn't pan out.  QB play was why the offense became non existent in the last three games.  The future is bright with the Broncos.  Those sophomores are the real deal, and they just suffered their first two losses ever since putting on pads for Dayton ISD.  The Broncos will be back in the playoffs in 2013, and I don't think we will be spectators on Thanksgiving weekend.
16. Who will win this weekend? [Hidden Content] GOOD LUCK TO THE BULLDOGS, EAGLES, AND COUGARS!!! Thanks for the edits.
17. What a weekend.  Sorry for the web page delay update... [Hidden Content] Toups Graphics GPS directions to the games are found below the picture montage. Nederland and Barbers Hill fans, if you have never walked along the Woodlands Waterway, it is worth the effort to make the time to see this amazing place, especially the Woodlands Waterway Fountains, and if you can eat at Grimaldis Pizza, you won't be dissapointed.  GOOD LUCK THIS WEEK!  Toups Graphics will continue to provide previews, FEARLESS PREDICTIONS, and results till 19-4A and 20-4A are eliminated.
18.

Dayton's kicker, punter is the real deal.Best I have ever seen. The ability to do both so well is very unique. The on-side kick was top notch also even if I think we got hosed on the call.Anyone know who he is going to sign with.
He was in, when he caught the ball. Barely, but he was in. I am sure sitting on the opposite side of the field it was next to impossible to see that. Wait for Toups, to do his video. I am sure he probably got it.
Haven't looked at the video, but when I was zoomed in live, his feet were CLEARLY down.  Amazing grab.  The only thing I couldn't see was if it was 10 yards down the field.
19. Not that it matters, but I will keep giving predictions until all teams are playing basketball.  Power rankings will be updated on Tuesday.
20. Just wondering...  Was this the first time three teams from 20-4A were beaten in bi-district since they went to a four team playoff system?
21. Web site has been updated... [Hidden Content] Congrats to the Bulldogs.  My wife (who really doesn't like football, but has an understanding of the game) had an interesting comment.  "Both teams were pretty even, Nederland was a little larger, but Dayton had quicker players, but the difference was the QB."  Nederland Bulldog MVP had to be the QB.  Bulldog defense played great, but Dayton's QB play is not what Bronco fans are used to.  Bulldogs should win next week, then playing Dawson might be all she wrote.
22.
So how did BH not score.on Dayton? Nederland went up and down the field on em
BH had NO passing game.  The first two Nederland TD's were results of well thrown passes.
23. Where does the 52 cents come from??  On the other hand, it stinks being the weak link.  Good luck to the remaining four teams.  Just got home.  Will be updating my website soon.
24. Lake Travis one and done!!  The Lake Travis Ego blimp has been popped!  Life is good!!!
25.
Ned's in trouble today and they don't even know it ;D If you guys beat that livingston team 23-7, I'm telling you the Bronco's are going to score early and often in this one. Dayton's D will shut down the run today. Goodluck Bronco's COMPLETE THE SWEEP!!!!!!!!
I agree again BHFAN!!!  I think my use of the force is having a strong influence on the weak minded...  ;D
