How could the Barbers Hill runner be running a faster split if he started with a 10 meter lead??? Also, even if his stride was broken, it is no excuse to drop the baton... Would also like to know how the baton was dropped??? Also, looking at the results, Dayton got 2nd by 0.05 seconds, guess Worthing got ahead right at the finish line....

The Broncos have an unbelievable talent pool from 7th grade to 11th grade. The current 10th and 11th graders are just AWEsome. As 7th and 8th graders they SWEPT LA MARQUE'S 7TH AND 8TH GRADERS! and there cummulative scores against Barbers Hill was 96 to 13!!! Next year the Broncos should be even better than this years. They will have some of the current Freshmen lineman they will probably pull to varsity. For the next 5 years it looks like football will be king in Dayton. As far as replacing Mike Dugat, his younger brother AJ will make 07 another year (5 in a row) with a Dugat who rushes over 1,000 yards! Cody Green will only get better and better as well as the defense and offensive lines. It will be hard for the Broncos to go undefeated again in 22-4A, but look for them to be favored to win the district again next year. I can't wait till Dayton gets its new home side next year.... At least when Nederland and PN-G come to Dayton they will have a visiting side that won't be half filled by the band and drill squad!!! As far as me... Nothing beats playing at PN-G. This is one of the more historic stadiums in SE Texas and there is nothing like the atmosphere that exists on a Friday night there. As far as play off games.... Pasadena's stadium and Baytown's stadium are my top 2 pics on the East side of Houston. Those two stadiums have plenty of seating, especially for schools that have huge fan bases like Nederland and PN-G.

I know a lot of Dayton fans were bummed about having to travel to the Golden Traingle for every away game, but I hope all of you realize how AWEsome it is to play those teams that have a rich history and HUGE fan bases. Not only do most of the stadiums seat at least 10,000 people, the home side for the most part was packed for all our away games, that is not the case at Smiley and many of the other 21 4A schools. As for me, I hope Dayton continues to play in 22 4A. At least you stand a stronger chance of getting out of the 1st round playing in this district. 21 4A just plain stinks. For the last few years they haven't had a team make it out of the 1st round (and that includes Dayton 2 and 3 years ago). GO BRONCOS GO!!!! Unfortunately for Dayton, #1 reacted to getting hit after the play and was caught.... Cougar fans... Great game Broncos!!!! Cody Green had a career night!!! Unfortunately for the competition he is only a sophmore. It is a great time to be a Bronco fan!!! THERE IS A HUGE TALENT POOL FROM 7TH GRADE TO 12TH GRADE!!!! To the Cougar fans... Before you start thinking how great your team is because you are dominating your district competiton... Just remember you wouldn't be able to beat the last place team from District 22-4A... Once again District 22-4A will sweep 21-4A out of the playoffs... (that is after Nederland wins today). Cougar fans, hope you like watching basketball, and if you want to continue to watch highschool football, try carpooling with a BRONCO fan travelling to next weeks game!!!! GO BRONCOS GO!!!

Hey Barbers Hill fans... You learned an ugly lesson tonight. The district you are in stinks! Winning that district is NO BIG DEAL!!! After Nederland beats Galena Park today, that will make several years in a row where 21-4A was swept out of the play offs by District 22-4A. All you 21-4A fans that were so happy Dayton was moved out of your district.... WE MIGHT HAVE ROOM ON THE BUS SO YOU CAN CONTINUE WATCHING HIGHSCHOOL FOOTBALL, BECAUSE ALL YOUR TEAMS ARE GONE!!! Another lesson for Barbers Hill... PLAY SOME 4A SCHOOLS BEFORE DISTRICT!!! Playing three 3A schools before district was weak... Last night was a great night... Dayton continues to roll, and Barbers Hill starts playing basketball and lifting weights... Have fun in the off season...

Reading through the pro Crosby predictions, and how they are saying the Cougars have improved so much this year... Just remember, the district you are in is horrible!!! The last few years the 3 teams from 21 4A have been swept out of the playoffs, by the 3 teams from 22-4A that means your 1st place team wouldn't have even made the playoffs in 22-4A. Not only did Dayton win District 22-4A, they pounded their opponents into submission. This week will be no different.
