Livingston was third place and just got thumped by the 4th place team from 19-4A, Look for Ozen to get throttled by Crosby. The game of all games will be Nederland vs Dayton.  Just ask Vidor if Nederland has receivers comparable to Summer Creek.  Not even close.  Look for BOTH defenses to match up very good against the offenses.  IF...  the Dayton squadron of sophomores (FIVE OF THEM) can get involved in the game, this will be the difference.  Ask BH if they can catch Kyle McBride in the open field.  Dayton will have the speed advantage in this game, unlike the SC game when the sophomores were really outmatched.  Game should be AWEsome.  To think Nederland will steam roll Dayton is fool hardy.  I see a defensive slug out.  Punting will be key as well as turnovers and penalties.  Can't wait till 1 PM.

[Hidden Content] There are two lots on the stadium side of MLK.  If...  You take the exrpessway option and go to the game down HWY 69 (Cardinal Drive)  You will exit of MLK and the stadium will be on your right.  The parking lot on the south side of the field house is small and will fill up quickly.  Continue on the feeder road, past the Montagne Center and there is a much larger lot (this one too will fill up).  If both lots are full you will park on the other side of MLK in a University parking lot.  I don't know which ones will be open.  As for me I am parking by the Wimberly building, might get there early and walk around my alma mater.  I would recommend Dayton fans stay on HWY 90, go under I-10 and turn right on MLK, this will avoid all the Nederland traffic.  GO BRONCOS!!!

[/quote]I didn't see Vidor play this season, I am assumming they would have had a size advantage on the Eagles.  But the Eagles defense is for REAL.  I would think the Eagles speed on defense would be the difference.  I would have picked Nederland over BH, but BH would beat all the other teams in 20-4A.

Just curious...  Is the parking lot south of the field house open for first come first serve parking, or is it only for bus parking for the teams?

Young girl is in one of my PE Classes.  Horrible situation.  Students are taking it well, and the moment of silence at school in the morning is somber.  Next couple of days are very crucial for the young girl.

Summer Creek did its self a favor by winning that game.  The top part of the bracket is MUCH easier.  Can't see Dayton laying over to draw Nederland.  Will be interesting to see how Dayton plays Saturday.  Last two games on offense have been the worst back to back Bronco offensive showings I have seen.

ttt Posted last night...  Kind of cool that I am getting close to 2000 hits a day on this site, and I just do all I do for the kids of Dayton (especially my former students).  I tell my wife I have to update my website for all my "FANS" and she just rolls her eyes.  Thanks for all the kind responses for what I do (even if you don't agree with my opinions).  We adults really need to keep in perspective that these are kids playing their hearts out for their communities, you have bad games and good games.  Weather should be AWESOME this weekend.  Can't wait till kick off!!!
