BH85 got a reaction from Michele in PNG vs Nederland - Third Round - Regional Quarterfinals
Sure will be a lot of travel between these two opponents. It's nice to see 3 from the district still alive.

Port Arthur Memorial brings back most of their team including their 2 bigs.

Fort Bend Marshal 53
PNG 14
PNG was completely out manned in that game. They had 4 dudes score multiple TD's. As special as RJ was at PNG, in my opinion, the answer would be no. RJ didn't have enough around him to compete with that Fort Bend Marshall team.

That is the same in most communities in Texas when it comes to football. Some schools extend those loftier expectations in other sports also.

Barbers Hill enjoyed our first year in the Golden Triangle District
District champs in Volleyball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Spring Tennis, Girls Golf, Girls Cross Country, Boys Cross Country
Runner up in Team Tennis, Boys Track
Made playoffs in football
It will be tough to repeat in all of these areas, but look to compete in most.

Congratulations to the EC boys track team for winning the region 3 team championship today in Waco. EC also won the region in basketball this year and made it to the regional finals in football. Great job Bucs!

Well, I figured since the $2.99 gives you everything that the premium does, I'd prefer to use the $5 to go toward a burger over at Ricky's.

BH85 reacted to prepballfan in Nederland Bond PASSES!!!!
My entire family in Nederland are voting yes. I have started my own real life survey asking everywhere I go in Nederland. I have had two people say no, two say they were not voting and 26 saying yes. That is not including the family members which number over 10. I see this as a pass. I find it hard to believe that it will fail. Nederland has done a fine job of being transparent, promoting, and following the right avenues to make it happen. Good luck heres to supporting the kids.

BH85 reacted to Coach.Shu in Argyle Sports Question
oldschool2 - you should read "The Miracle of St Anthony" by Adrian Wojnarowski... Good read and has a lot of thought on this very topic! I agree with your idea here for the most part - but the exceptions are so much more interesting...
I have always preferred to work with the "student B" from this comparison - that kid is usually a little tougher and wants it a little bit more...

BH85 reacted to WOSgrad in Beaumont Enterprise
Well, you got to be careful on believing that an FOI request has to be answered immediately, When an FOI is submitted, the entity has 10 business days to comply or serve notice that they will seek an opinion from the Texas AG. So depending, on when it was done (if it was done) Kountze ISD may still not reached their deadline to comply.
As to any of the other open jobs listed above, I believe that all of them are outside of the Enterprise's coverage area.....yes even Anahuac. When the Enteprise and the Chronicle, both owned by Hearst Publishing, split their coverage of Southeast Texas sports, Anahuac was put in the Chronicle's coverage area.
And I can tell you, that historically, the Chronicle has been nowhere as diligent as the Enterprise in attempting to get potential candidates for an open position.

I guess you could call Silsbee a dynasty like the Patriots. Except Coach Sig is a much better dresser than Belichick.

They must be using deflated balls like the Patriots.
Incredible run and hopefully another successful San Antonio visit at the end.

BH missed a lot of free throws in 1st half which helped cause deficit. Our D stepped up in 2nd half and we attacked more.
