Big game in 24-2A!!!! Buna 5-0 and Anahuac 3-1. Anyone care to give a guess? I think it will be a good game but if both teams bring their A game Buna wins by 3.

Way to go Cougars. Look out 24-2A the cougs are looking stronger with just one more game left in the first round. Warren played good but Buna finally started hitting the ball. Still need some work but are getting better each week. Good luck to everyone in 24-2A just not when you play Buna.

I did not say it was a Buna kid either. All I said was if it was a buna kid they would be sorry. As for tearing into goatherder I did nothing of the sort. All i said was what was the "Boy" for. As for pulling on my chain, I can not stand to see someone talk then ask why are you getting upset. I'm not upset but why say go back to class before your teacher gets mad BOY and then act like nothing was said. If you dish it out you had better be able to take it. I wonder if everyone had to reveal thier true identity how many people would post anything on here. Again, this is all in fun but be a little more thicked skinned. The good news is there is still a baseball game tonight @ 7:30. Oh, the project graduation will be serving burgers at the game so be sure to get you one and I hope you get to see a great ball game.

I do not understand the "Boy" goatherder? Who were you speaking too? I know several of the coaches and players on the Buna team and I can guarantee if a Buna kid is typing anything like that he would be sorry. I have not seen, not saying it is not true, a post that said Buna will kii everyone they play. Most of the post are that Buna is not killing everyone or Buna defending a post about them. I agree with ex-cardinal 86, don't post a prediction and then come back and say don't talk till after the game. This board is for fun and people need to be reminded of that. I'm sure deep down everyone hopes every school does well except when said school plays the school that they support. If it is a kid posting smack from Buna he had better hope he does not get caught because I'll bet my paycheck(Not Much) that Coach T will have that kid wishing he had never done it. They played crappy against small no good schools? Careful what you say, other teams in your district may take that as an insult. This district is going to be a fight for three spots, so do not give the other teams any more insentive to be pumped up to play you!

I heard from a person who works at Buna that they have less than 400 kids now!

The game has been moved to Buna. As far as the "District Race", it's waaaaaaaaaaay too early to call. Warren got to play a game early so they will already know their final district record before district is over. So I would bet that the last game of district will determine someones playoff fate. Good luck to all teams and should be a great district to watch.

Why did Warren and Hardin play a District game and no one else in the district did?

I was at the Buna vs Trinity game and the final was 6-0. Trinity made every play and Buna just hit'em right at people. The game only took one hour and thirty-five min. Good game just the baseball gods were in the Trinity dug out. Great job Buna!!! 6-1 with one more to go before district.

I saw on the tournament post that it is two three team pool. Buna, Diboll and Newton on one side and Trinity, Kirbyville and Kountze in the other side. On Saturday #3 plays #3, #2 plays #2 and #1 plays #1. All but Buna were in the playoffs last year, so this should be a good test for the Cougars. So far they have played well (4-0) but still need some work on some defensive issues. Scoring alot of runs hope they can keep it up all year.

They were all Freshman Jack leg! The one FRESHMAN (Brandon Hillin) had both of Buna's wins in district. But 7 of this years starters are still in basketball.

Warrior sports.... I heard Mucelroy will probly not even pitch since most of the buna baseballers are in basketball. I would say do not be starting stuff by saying Buna can shove it to K'Ville.

Moody did a great job but if you give a second team then Bradley Morgan from Buna took a team everyone had in 5th place and finished second. Buna was 0-9 last year and finished 7-4 and a playoff birth 1st since 1999!

Great job Newton. They took it to Buna in all parts of the game. Good luck with Marlin hope you guys continue to ROLL... That being said we are proud of the cougars and hope those seniors realize how far you guys have come. You guys were 0-9 last year and turned our program around. Hold your heads up and you younger guys build on what these seniors have started. Great season. Enjoyed watching you guys and look forward to next year. As for the smack talking it's all in fun and if a fan does not think their team has a chance to win then they should not support their team.

Buna went from 0-9 to 7-3 and a second place finish in district. will be in the playoffs, last time they were there was 1999. I think in the history of the school they have been in the playoffs six times. way to go Buna. I know you are going to hear that you went down to 2A you should be in the playoffs. Well that being said you went from 0-9 to 7-3 and a second place finish in district. You were still prejected to finish 4th or 5th in this district but you guys got better each week. Do not let anyone take away what you guys have done by listening to people who are watching the playoffs say well they went to 2A and blah blah blah... Enjoy it guys, not everyone gets to say they are still playing. We get to play Newton. Newton is a great football team but you guys are too. Play hard, have fun and lets see what happens.

Why is it when a team wins a game one team had to have a bad game? Maybe Buna that night was better than them. Buna has said all along that they where better than Anahuac but Anahuac still got the win. That's is why we play the games. Deweyville has a great bunch of kids but Buna's are not bad either. I feel both teams are going to make the playoffs. Warren will come to play friday at Buna but for you to say that alot of Warren fans do not have computers is uncalled for. Unless you go door to door and ask every family if they have a computer, then you can't make that statement. I would GUESS that more than half of the people from Warren do have computers. Support your team and lets see Friday who is the best team.

How about Buna gets in and plays Woodville and East Chambers can play Newton in round 4! Because if Woodville does not get in or Buna does not get in than E-C and Newton will not play each other in the playoffs.

Come on Buckster you have picked against Buna every week. I think the only reason you want Buna to win is that if Buna does not get in than you guys would go Div I and have to play Newton. I hope we do get in and good luck to all teams from 24-2A.
