Great ball game for the cougars. About the 15 yarders, Hull had a kid ejected for 2(TWO) personal fouls. And as far as the starters still in, well you need to check the roster, because the interior of the defense played 1-2 series in the second half. 451 yards rushing and 38 yards passing, wow thats what i call airing it out late. Buna got in the power eye (A SHORT YARDAGE OFFENSE) and moved down the field. Hull-Daisetta is a darn good football team and will be in the playoffs but tonight the cougars were more physical and in better shape than the bobcats. Good luck the rest of the way bobcats. Your a class act and are well coached.

I did notice that east chambers and anahuac fans picked hull-daisetta, why? Would it not make your district look better if teams from your district had winning records? Buna has gotten a little taste of success, so lets see if they can make it three wins in a row? I say Buna by 7.

I think Buna wins this one due to numbers. Burkeville has several players that are playing on both sides of the ball and i feel that they will be spent and the large Buna o-line will wear them out. JMO

It is Orangefield. I know some of the Buna coaches and as for you being a supporter of your school that is great. You yourself said it is all in fun so what is that BS about I know where to find you? As for getoffme I have no clue who that is but it is not me. I feel both Buna and deweyville both have a chance to make the playoffs but Anahuac and East Chambers are no punks. Warren and (From what I hear about them this year) Kountze are no push overs either. I M O there are 5 or 6 teams that can finish in the top 3. Should be a great district race and may the best team win!!!

I fell both school agreed to scrimmage each other because they do not play untill the second to last district game and both teams will be better by then. The sad part is you have nothing better to do but sit on a chat board and try to re-live your high school career. hey dp#1 fan it is their not there. And for the school 1/2 Buna's size well deweyville won last year. I said nothing disrespectful or did not start a jawing war. If you need an excuse already by saying that deweyville is 1/2 the size of Buna then so be it. Last year Buna played every school in THEIR district and they all were twice the size of Buna.

I was there and they did not attempt extra points. Buna had 8 td runs. #22 (Sorry don't know his name) scored 3 times, all 3 were 30yds or longer. They looked pretty good but, no disrespect to evadale, is it Buna looking better or evadale being down? Deweyville and Buna scrimmage next friday and should be a good measuring stick for Buna and how the year is going to go.

BUna looked good. They moved the ball up and down the field on off. and held evadale to no scores. I think Buna scored 7 or 8 times. Real intense def. Things are looking up for the cougars. Next week they scrimmage Deweyville and Colmesneil and we'll see what happens.

do not overlook Buna. Do not let the 0-9 season fool you, they are much better and they feel they have something to prove moving down to 2a. I not saying they should win the whole thing because of that, but do not think for a minute that they are going to be 0-9 again this year.

Newton coach !!! He could not coach a little league team!!!!!!!! He won a weak district that had a three way tie and he has won 1 playoff game ( remember last years warren beat down in the first round) and now he is qualified to coach at the 4a level! Please!!!!! The UIL will grant a waiver for declaring the playoff teams as long as they are all played by Wednesday (The day you have to delacre your playoff teams) Call the UIL for the info and the waiver info!!!

I think there is a possiblilty that buna can get in if they win 3 out of 4. So if that is true then it's a big game for buna also. What was the score last time these two played each other? I think it was close.
