Salado has beaten Lexington in two game last night. Mildred has a one game lead on Palmer and Grape Creek has a one game lead on San Saba. And oh yeah, BUNA has a one game lead on Hemphill.

TXHORN_ET you guys are nothing but class. Your kids and fans were up all night and what a game. I know Hemphill is upset that they did not win but WOW you guys can sure swing it! Saturday should be just as fun. Buna is in no way thinking that you guys are going to lay down. See everyone Saturday.

There were several fans standing in the bull pen watching the game and when the call at home was made several more showed up!

New Boston won game 1 5-1. Lost Game 2 4-6 and won game 3 6-4.

Buna plays Centerville @ New Caney tomm. @ 7pm. Hopefully PNG started some good luck for our area at New Caney. Best of luck to PNG the rest of the way!

Kountze plays Woodville E-C plays Central Heights Buna plays winner of 3rd of 22-2A (Centerville) and 2nd of 21-2A (Garrison or Troup)

Not sure how many games Shelbyville had to foreit but it was enough to put Woodville in as the 3rd place team. A-Town if both teams win (Kountze and E-C) then Kountze is the 2nd place team and E-C is the 3rd place team. Kountze will play Woodville and E-C will play Central Heights.

Alot of districts are ending on Tuesday instead of the usual Friday, so teams without first round byes are able to play a warm up game. Best of luck to all playoff teams in SE Texas!!

I heard that Woodville may be back in the playoffs. Is this true? If so what happend??

ATM_1989 NO I don't coach at Buna but I know someone who does. NO I attended Highschool at Hull-Daisetta and now live in Beaumont. I support smaller schools because I attended one.

Sportsman it is great to be excited about Kountze this year. I agree that the baseball team will be pretty dawg gone good. Should win District, i don't think so! Kountze made the playoffs and only lost one kid. They only lost to Buna by 1 run both district games, So yes they should be excited. Now, Buna lost 3 starters and went 4 rounds deep in the playoffs. Kountze got beat the first round. Buna went 11-1 in district and Kountze did not give Buna their lose, so untill the Champs are beaten they should be the favorite. So that being said I'm not sure that Kountze is shoe in to win district but they should be in the mix. I hope Buna can play like they did last year and I hope both Kountze and Buna will represent the district well in the playoffs. But we have not even started yet! Best of luck to all teams in 24-2A should be alot of fun watching this year.

Newton _Eagles please do not let people think that people from Newton are like you. You handed it to Buna tonight, enjoy your win but be Humble. I remember a Seally game in the playoffs that Newton did not do so well in!!! remember that? Best of luck Newton.

Newton_Eagles, You did not hurt anyones feelings. Great job Newton no excuses. I wish Buna would have played a better game. They had a case of the fumbles early and Newton took advantage of every mistake. Best of luck Newton!! Everyone in buna is proud of this years team and what a great job these kids did. Newton you have every right to gloat and your kids and coaching staff, as always, are a prefect example of what class is. I saw no smack talking even when Newton was handing it to Buna. Again best of luck the rest of the way.

Game will be closer than everyone thinks. Buna has a lot to prove and need to play their best game of the year but do not count them out. These kids have played their hearts out and feel they can step on the field with anyone. We will see thursday night in Lufkin. Best of luck to both teams and go COUGS!!!!

East Chambers is in with a win or a Kountze loss to Deweyville Kountze is in with a win AND a E-C loss to Hardin.(Kountze holds the head-to-head tie break with E-C) D1---------Buna DII#1-------E/C or Hardin DII#2-------Hardin or Kountze.

24-2A is easy. Buna and Hardin are in. East Chambers is in with a win against Hardin or a Kountze loss to Deweyville. Kountze is in if they beat Deweyville AND Hardin beats East Chambers. Buna D1 East Chambers/Hardin Hardin/Kountze

stellercrzy your name has been changed to just CRAZY, because if you did not know they play four quarters and Buna scored 19 unanswered in that quarter. Deweyville played well and our hats are off to them but do not come with that deweyville should have won. Buna had several pentalties that Deweyville can not get credit for (if Buna fumbled you could say thet Deweyville hit them and they fumbled) but again Deweyville played hard and Buna just outlasted them.

I heard that if Buna wins they get a share of the District Championship. So if that is true and EC wins ( both with one loss in district) then they do not use a tie breaker because it does not determine any playoff spots, so co-champs. Same thing the other way if Buna wins and Hardin wins then they are still co-champs.

24-2A Buna has clinched and is going big school.

I'm going with Woodville. They won 2 in a row then faced two tough teams in C-C and Newton. Woodville wins by 1-2 td's.
