    My thoughts on PA ISD....
My wife worked out there.  If it's academics that's the problem, then I'm calling BS.  There are smart kids in PA that'll push a child to finish too percent there.  The top rung of students there isn't the problem.  The middle and bottom tier is the problem.  But with that problem comes... Parents that usually don't care.  There are so many programs at Memorial that students can take advantage of.  Parents are told about these programs but most aren't involved or just don't give a damn.  I can tell you this.  Memorial can help their kids more than BISD does.  They don't have many programs to help the struggling students.  Parents won't come out and get involved.  And when those bad report cards come in, that's when the parents want to raise all kind of you know what.  I'm just speaking an a academic standpoint.  Now athletics, Memorial Wil push you so many athletically gifted kids walking around PA.  Sometimes, you're child just don't cut the mustard, compared to the other kids.  At that point, your kid will just need to work harder.  Don't transfer because the competition is too great.  Stay in PA, get your lesson, grind hard in practice and in off-season.  The stigma about PA is just so inaccurate, and even people that were born and raised in PA get the wool pulled over their heads.
I'm a firm believer that kids flourish where they're more comfortable. Comfortable with kids they've grown up with.  Not talking about race, because Memorial is more diverse than you think.  Lot of Asians and Mexicans walk the halls there.
In conclusion, keep the kids home.  Besides real life issues like changing of jobs, divorces, marriages, ect., there's no real reason to be 'running' from PA ISD.

Perfect game to get everything in line and in gear for district next week...
Don't take them lightly, but line blocking and overall defense has came a long way..   clean up some things, connect on some passes, and we'll be ready...

Shadow Creek is a bunch of kids that would normally go to Manvel. I wouldn't look at them as a get right game just because the don't have seniors. They'll be young but they'll still be those Manvel/Pearland level athletes.

OK should I go ahead and start a "Who is the best water boy that WOS has faced?" . I mean RB or QB is one thing but a thread for every position..

And I realize that I am remissed by not including another talented back in Chris Winters at LCM

    I agree, td.
At this point, does it really matter who gained more anyway?  Both are talented backs in their own right in admittedly very different way.  Both will at the very least be able to pay for their continued education.  And, unless one of both of them transfer to a 4A DII school, we will never see either of them play another football game against WO-S ever again.
While it certainly is appropriate for WO-S folks to weigh in on the argument, I think this argument is really for the BC folks to have with the Silsbee folks, which I am certain will happen in the very near future.

Our stats had it 116-119 Draper. I think that's too close to say one is better than the other. They are both very talented.

Any time the offensive arms go around the defender their blocking, holding will get called. That's what happened here. You can clearly see it in the video.

I don't see Silsbee O line being bad at all. Remember, they were tasked with stopping arguably the best defensive front in the State of Texas. That right there can make anyone look bad. Poor QB was running for his life all night, backwards at that.

Obvious answer is Tyler of your asking who was the best back. If your asking who was the better overal running attack (considering offensive line blocking) then draper.
Tyler was held in check other than two long runs thanks to horrible offensive line play

The reason he said that is because of your comment of how those interceptions were taken and not given. Which I have to agree with them, the pick #22 had was a great play by him, broke on the ball perfectly!! the others were because of WOS mistakes. Same with the fumble that was qbs fault. That was a given as well.

Come on man!!!! Jack and his receiving core were playing volleyball in the first half. 2 of the INT's were tipped balls(by OUR) receivers. The other was just a bad read, I'll give Silsbee that one, dB had a hell of a jump. Kinda funny you say he's our weakness when he tore through your defense in the second half like 6 pack of Natty Light in a wet paper bag!!! For a kid to have 3ints and missing targets in the first half, Not get rattled what so ever and still have the numbers he had, that is what I call elite!

What happened to the talk of Coach Thompson never running the score up on opponents?
Less than a minute left in game, up 44-2 and you are still passing? 5 wide? With 1st team?
    Am I missing something?
