I've done some research on Bay City Black Cats. They had to Beat Sealy to make the playoffs. They finished 3rd in that district, with the last 5 spots being tied at 3-3. That 5th team, Needleville missed the playoff, I assume some type of head to head scenario... Also they beat a team that's a traditional powerhouse, Cameron Yoe in nondistrict. BC seems to be able to score somewhat. They've been held to single digit scores ONCE and have scored over 40 points 3 times. They're like to pass more than run and have more yards passing than running, but still run Well based on attempts. The QB, Davidson, makes the offense go. He passed for over 2,000 yards and also leads the team in rushing yards with over 1,000 yards rushing. A dual threat QB. He doesn't throw to just one receiver. He passed it around all over the field. On defense, seems like their secondary is their weakness. They give up almost twice as many TD's in the air than on the ground. Silsbee should win this one just based on all the things Silsbee's doing well at.

Boy Wonder on defense? And he made the last tackle? Because he is a high prospect at QB, many wouldn't agree, but I'll say heck yea.last week, we learned that he can tackle. Whatever gives your team a chance to win. Great adjustments, Fairchief!

I just couldn't say Nederland was good. They lost to us, and I couldn't shove that aside... And I trusted Crosby's defense to make a stop before y'all. They proved me wrong, which I'm ok with. I hope they make it all the way to the regional finals...

From what I'm hearing, BD, the information being tossed around is pretty neutral to each team... If it happens, we'll grow to like it. It's the other issues that'll happen that I'm worried about...

Great game for Boy Wonder, and his team advanced. But the argument is still debatable. Elia's last good performance was swept under the rug when I mentioned it against 6a competition. Now, it's brought up. Not taking anything away from Crosby, but I know middle school teams that can score on that defense. Their defense is worse than PN-G's. So I stand firm. The topic is STILL Debatable..

I'll be researching Bay City today... I haven't seen them with my own eyes since Central played and lost to them in the 3rd round of the playoffs in 2003...

This my be the Tiger's best defensive showing all year for a whole game. We allowed under 200 yards of offense from a pretty good Center team. Love the way the defense is coming along. Turk, White, Sells, Hageon, Grant, and Keenon. These are the names that stepped up last night. Great collective effort. Ifboir defense is coming around, that's makes us that much dangerous.
