People will lose jobs. You can't promise the teachers, coaches, and other workers jobs if the new school is built... So the current workers will lose jobs or have to take a demotion. Lots of those workers, most whom I know bussed tail to get that position. Most of those workers have children in the district. How do you think that'll pan out?

You do realize that I didn't say it, I only agreed. So, you want all to post about their teams county, and city? That is, without a doubt the asinine thing that I've heard all year.

How about just keep all 3 teams the same, fix Central and redraw those like the right way. No one loses their job, everyone is happy. You'd have to swallow the cost, but our kids are worth it, imo.

Jag Insider, I understand fully what you mean... Not many people have kids in BISD are remotely concerned with Winnie or Chambers County taxes.

The interest of lack of interests are for other reasons in most cases. I've seen the 'private chat rooms'. I have private messages in the past that would suggest otherwise. I also am good friends with people that live and pay taxes in other districts and other towns that aren't scared to tell it like it is. Just because you pay/paid taxes gives you a say so even though you don't have kids in the district? Go and plant that mess in those rice fields and cover it up.

I only stated about the mediocre players at Nederland as a bebuttal to your foolish post. Truth is, I have nothing against Nederland. Truth is I already know how the Central players did in the last game, and I also know how the Silsbee players Adams and McCain did. No need in asking questions I already know the answer too. I didn't suggest or elude to anything. I asked a question, no answer, then I asked again. I asked the question as clearly as I could to prevent someone from not understanding. I guess I failed.. You didn't acknowledge Sneed from H-J possibly outplaying Heffner, which is probably why Nederland lost... Where did you ever see me suggest or elude to the Nederland kid scoring 50 to be legit in my eyes?

Yes, I was high on this player. It you never asked me me reason why. Reason why was prior to him getting to Central, we'd take it on the chin from Oxen every year. He came I'm and almost instantly, Central basketball changed. Wasn't backing down from Oxen and we went on a mini streak on beating Ozen. He was the catalysis. Sure, he was pretty raw as a freshman, but ends up by his senior year as probably the best in SETX. Actually, in that second round loss, he did pretty good!

There was an 8 point differential. You have a player that's highly ranked and the rest are mediocre players. I would think it would be not asking for much for this star player to score 8 more points.
