Well, to WO-S standards, i see your point. They will win district and Makeba deep run. So not really disappointment. Silsbee as well. They will finish #2, just like last year and they also have the talent and firepower to go deep. I dont think neither one can say disappointing season. Depending on how you look at it, I guess...

West Brook is a real mystery at this point. They do lose a good PG and a 6'9" kid that was a 3 year starter, but they do return a 6'7" kid than can rebound and play defense as well. This alone may cause Silsbee major issues, factored in with a legend coaching them...

Almost identical from last year. Also including a score loss to WO-S. I hope this season pans out like last season where this team comes out the gate in two weeks full steam . Hopefully, same or better results..

Plenty of oportunities to score points, especially on the long run at the beginning of the game. Kid was run down from behind and on the ensuing few downs, couldn't get in the end zone. Showed me that we could move the all against a team like that. You just can't have mistakes like interceptions. I think we did as good as we could against the NS offense. We gave up some passes, one of which was a blown coverage. NS will go on to win state. We are just trying to find an identity. Two different paths. I just hope that time day, United will be established enough to come day, we can play with them. Only time will tell.

I'm going to be following this Jasper team. Very interested to know how good this team will be once the length gets on the court. And during the scrimmage, several United fans thought Jasper was ranked. I told them they wasn't (then looking at tabc).

Yes indeed. But we have some things to work on to hold true to that ranking. Hopefully all that is ironed out before the season tip off...

Yea, Jasper has a scrappy bunch that plays good defense and they have like 3 guards that can get to the cup any time they want. Its just they have no real length down low. Once United figures out that they'll have many opportunities for them to shoot and they should actually TAKE the shots, SheWolves will be fine. Also, our bigs need to work on their shooting touch on the block. Memorial has a couple of guards that can play. Nice handles. Actually, there's a nice looking big on JV that should be on varsity, IMO... Didn't really see anything out of the ordinary from West Brook...

I had lots of bad stuff to say about this, but looking at it from WB's perspective, I'm not that mad anymore. It's the coach's job to keep the kid's beat interest in mind. They get the favorable bracket with a home playoff game. I understand, but dont agree. I wish WB well in their quest. It's just now, the high standards and respect I had for the WB coaching staff just went down a tad bit.
