  1. I was hoping for a different result in this game, but Once you see North Shore, the results that you seen were inevitable. I was really impressed with how WB was able to move the ball all night on that fast physical defense. North Shore is not very big on the d-line, but they get after it. Couple of things I noticed. 1. No one on North Shore's roster could/can check #12 Thad Johnson. This kid kept getting behind, around and through the defense, took hard hits and just kept on gashing them. This kid is special 2. No one and I mean NO ONE can tackle #3 from North Shore, Evans. That kid is a man and it's just ridiculous seeing him looking like a 99 player while the rest of the defense is 60 (Madden reference) . 3. Why is NS short changing their offense by limiting Evans? If you have a monster like that, ride him all the way through! That game could have been over with in the first quarter had they let Evens play every snap. 4. I believe NS only threw once to Banks, so they limited this kid too. 5. WB's special teams is HORRIBLE. Everything from the pooch kicks on kickoffs, the refusal to actually field the kickoffs (let ball roll into the front of the end zone), Punting (short punts and gave up a returned punt), and most importantly, the extra point attempts, Non were successful and one was returned the other way for a NS TD). 6. Why didn't Holland play? 7. WB has some really nice young RB's that will look good next year. 8. NS fans not really high on their team and they should be. That talent is unreal and you won in a blowout but some were still unhappy. I don't get it. 9. Yowman was really off target last night and he missed a few passes that would have been scores. 10. WB offense left like 21 points on the field even after their defense made a few stands. I think if WB QB can be accurate like he normally is, this WB team will do great in the playoffs. I think that If NS quits playing around and ride their monsters from the opening whistle, no one, except Duncanville, can slow this team down.
  2. La Porte 9th - 6 United 9th - 22 United JV - 21 La Porte JV - 8
  3. 'Nice try Joey but we actually have a film crew of students that are responsible for filming our games...now go get you some rest you gotta be at that plant in the morning! Lol PS: still waiting on you to tell us the players we recruited.'
  4. 'They’re allowing me to make the trip this time. I’ll be in the box watching your Bruins get treated like step children while you're in the stands being a fan & making excuses about recruiting lol '
  5. Freshmen lost 2-0 (16-25)(16-25) JV lost in 2-0 (15-25)(13-25) Varsity lost 3-0 (11-25)(16-25)(9-25)
  6. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ 👀👀👀 🤣🤣
  7. I have a message from a North Shore fan that wished to remain anonymous. 'Which ones on our team aren’t homegrown because all of the kids that y'all calling All Americans came from our feeder middle school so please name a kid on our team that isn’t home grown.... '
  8. Freshmen lost 2-0 (11-25)(13-25) JV lost in 2. No score Varsity lost in 3-0 (13-25)(10-25)(18-25)
  9. I say like 2 years in when the old regime's kids start graduating...
  10. From what I'm told, yes.
  11. Sounds about right...
  12. Speaking of Martin and Cartwright, both those kids can ball on the hardwood. I especially like Martin. Kid is a big physical body down low and he has a pretty nice 3 ball when he shoots it... nut it will be hard when you have 6'5" and up runing at you on the shot. Memorial and United will have that running at you all night...
  13. I don't agree with you much, but this point was spot on.
  14. You missed my point. Parent influence seems to for whatever reason. Hold more weight in the west end. Could be a various amount of reasons, but it's TRUE. That was apparent when the talks of combining all 3 schools last year was done.
  15. Parents have a major influence and a big pull on the ISD. At least in this particular situation, if you get where I'm going with this...
  16. I'd love to hear the reasoning behind this...
  17. For whatever it's worth, there are several middle class families that attend BU. I'd venture to say it's about even at WB. Believe it or not, many middle class families just refuse to move or live in the west end. I personally know MANY of those families personally. So I'm not buying that wealthy thing too much...
  18. I only say that because I can see a garbage time TD being give up. And those guys have no defensive speed. You'll out athlete them for those points...
  19. I see what you're saying. Ozen, Central, and United has dominated WB in basketball, but no one dismisses football. People on this side of town actually care about winning and beating them. Apparently, more emphasis is placed in football on the West End.
  20. On homecoming night. Predictions?
  21. Ok. Cool. Just saying. Based on what I see, The Mustang band would compete well in it if they decided to participate...
