Completely 100% agree. The Bruins are now 5 years removed from a state title appearance, and haven't put a competitive product on the field in the last 3 season. I think its safe to say the Langston experiment at West Brook has been a dismal failure. The kids, and the school deserve better.

Being a 6A school playing in arguably the toughest district in the state, please tell me what does Westbrook get out of playing a terrible 5A school? I honestly feel bad for what’s about to happen to WB in district play, there needs to be a purge of coaches & admin in BISD. No way football in Beaumont should be this bad.

Rabb was trash but he didn't have the talent that’s at Langston's disposal. Langston was a nice story but he's clearly out of his depth here. This team has no identity on offense  and looks completely lost in defense. 

Geez, this is pathetic. Langston has them underprepared, and looks to be out of his league. Reminds me of the Al Rabb coached 0-10 West Brook teams from the early 2000s. The Bruins deserve better.

Langston definitely ain't Peevey. Damn shame.

Looks like ole Mr Defense, Chuck Langston, ain't getting it done. So, more mediocrity from the Bruins, this year.

WB's olé defense with their hit or miss offense is going to make for a long season. 

Peevey took West Brook to the 6A D2 state title game, in 2018, and lost to Longview 35-34. He can coach.

I don't see Coach Langston trying to leave his Alma Mater after only one year, but I could see that Bridge City head coach applying for the gig after coming over from Austin Westlake. 

They have other weapons. United just can’t stop Bryce. Langston is an old school, do it till they stop it, type of coach.

Without Anderson I don’t see Brook competing with no one. Hopefully he can stay healthy for their sake. 

Anderson's one-man show reminds me of Reyes, Ambres and Brown.
