  1. Kountzer, that game was at the Montage Center. I was there on the bench. There was close to 6000 people or more at the game. Starting for Silsbee was Wille Jones jr, Russell Whitmore, Donyel Allen, Damien Bush, and AL Henry. Lincoln started Xavier Lee, Stephen Jackson, Keith Harris, comoeux, and ????.
  2. Didn't know Lincoln was that small now. Had a cousin who graduated there back in 1993
  3. Saw where the Lumberton Police escorted Silsbee into town and I saw 100s of fans lining the streets of Silsbee holding signs!!! 1st Class all day!!!
  4. Tre Grubbs or Traon Harris should have made it as well. One Silsbee Tiger and 3 Lincoln Tigers. Give me a break.
  5. Ozenfinest is a pure 100% Silsbee hater.
  6. I think this year's team is one of the best. Really gonna miss watching Grubbs, Dontre, and Lil Rick. 31-6 and state runner is nothing to shake your head at. A town of 7000 playing vs a city of 2 million. Lincoln, Carter, and Skyline should all be 5A.
  7. Good enough to beat HJ by 30?
  8. Silsbee could have 3 all state players honestly. I think they have had a different leading scorer in all playoff games. I know Maze, Adams, Devon, Harris, and Grubbs have all lead a game as the high point man.
  9. It will be very interesting to see how is select for the all state team for Silsbee. My vote would be Trey Grubbs and Devon McCain.
  10. Back in the day Region 3 was always Silsbee and PA Lincoln or Silsbee, Hebert, and PA Lincoln.
  11. Andy Gardner, David Green, and Lloyd MacArthur were also great players for Silsbee.
  12. MacArthur was 1985/86. Don't know if he played in the game but was nominated as a McDonald's All American. He was a USA Today 2nd team all American as well.
  13. Did buddy say Purdue and the Big 10 are trash? Man get outta here with hat garbage. Purdue will be an elite 8 team this year for sure. Big 10 over the past 10 years is the beat conference for basketball along with the Big 12.
  14. 1988/89 as well was very very talented
  15. This team is very talented and I think this is the deepest team. Best I'm not sure. Remember districts change over the years and you can always judge by who got the deepest in the playoffs. 1982/83, 1994/95, and 1996/97 were very good. Devon is on his way to being great but Silsbee has had some beast!! Daryl MacArthur (McDonald's all american), Damien Bush, Thad Holden, Lewis Arline, and Chris Miller were fantastic players. Devon is definitely on his way as long as he keeps playing. I'd like to see him develop a nice mid range jumper and with finishing more at the rim.
  16. Yates losing a lot this year.
  17. When he got hurt there was a full qtrs and a half of basketball left to play. Silsbee would have came back in that game and won if he didn't get hurt. When you looked at their bench there were several kids crying and that was very very emotional time for that team. It's hard to imagine that 10 minutes later you are back on the court playing. Lots of high and low emotions for one day.
  18. Had a great time following Silsbee this season and last. I hope the graduating seniors put those heads in the books and get in college and have a great career in whatever they want. The rest of the team coming back, let's take some time off before playing another sport. You gave 120% all year!!! I can't wait to see these guys again next year on the field and court.
  19. God is good!!!!!!
  20. May God bless him and his teammates. I'm glad he is ok.
  21. Silsbee had chances to take the lead in the 4th qtr. We turned the ball over twice on jump passes. Not sure why we did that and we missed a layup. Lincoln came back scored and got a stop. They out played Silsbee tonight. The game was awesome and Silsbee fans, coaches, and players should be proud. I know I am.
  22. Prayers for Devon and Silsbee has heart all day!!! I feel we forced a lot of 3 pointers and should have just took it to the hoke to draw a foul or score. Work hard in the off season and battle back here.
  23. #20 for Lincoln is 21 years old
  24. Yes he is moving his arms and legs. They are taking him to the local hospital for follow up. He took a hard pick to the chest and fell directly back on his head.
