Yates has a kid named Joe Valarie who was KPRC athlete od the week at like 6'7 or 6'8. He is Is junior and seems to be pretty good. Along with him and the two big Dawgs they seem to be expected to beat Silsbee down.

Liberty Hill is no push over

Yates is very very talented. They very well could be beat Silsbee but who knows. Silsbee is very battle tested this season and helps this time of year. Yates has blown everyone out this year for the most part. The games Yates has lost was to bigger schools.

Silsbee need not focus on Yates. Connelly 1st. One night rest is more than enough for 14-18 year olds. Not like your playing another game 2 hours later. Win tomorrow and you will have a good 12-14 hours before the next game. Silsbee has to play tougher teams which would make it even sweater to win and go get that trophy in state.

You do realize that Silsbee will playing all the ranked teams in Region 3 to get back to state? This isn't last year. The team they beat last night lost to Yates by 15 and 16 during district. Scarborough wasn' a bad team. Silsbee won by 23.
