2.
No DAWG houses here, I would never do that... And I saw Diboll against Rusk, Dolemite, and they looked terrible then too... Diboll will not beat Jasper because they can't hold on to the football...
They do have a bit of a problem with that don't they. For starter take those gloves off and put a hand on the ball! They can look cool later. ;D
 3. I saw this thread and wondered what he/she was talking about. Now when I change threads a CC add pops up. Only on this site. Anyone else?
 4. Good luck to Anahuac. I lived there for 7 yearsdurring the Martel years never missed a game and still carry our Panther seat backs to every game (which Kville fans love by the way).  The 'Cats will miss seeing yall in the playoffs this year!
 5.

Did anyone else see the guy in the maroon jacket waiting in the endzone after the game? Wondered if he was a scout.
Yes, Texas A&M where there looking at both Ford and Diboll's Taylor. I'm sure Fords performance increased their intrest in him, while Taylor put the ball on the ground too much. Taylor is only a Jr. so he'll have another full year to impress the scouts.
I thought so. Taylor will get a handle on it.
 6.
It is not even close.... Jasper should beat Diboll by three TD's, and this is from someone who has seen both teams play in the last few weeks... Diboll is terrible...
People that live in glass Dawg houses should not throw stones!LOL Seriously Jasper has all of the tools they just need to get it together. Just don't take Dibboll too lightly their Rb could be a problem on a good night.
 7. I am sure it is harder to set these games up than people think but this isnt the NFL so these game are played mostly for hometown pride and it just seems a little off to set a game up on weekday when it is going to be difficult for many parents and students to come to support their team. Most of the faithfull would be there if it was a Tuesday morning in Luckenbach and so as long as we are in the hunt I guess thats all that matters. ;D
 8.
Carthage is the 2 time defending 3A DI State Champs correct? I'll take Carthage until prooven otherwise. No knock on KVille, but Champ is Champ until prooven otherwise. Besides, these two will not be in the same division if memory serves me correct. Won't find out on the field.
Unless they let all the players from those 2 teams come out and suit up again old trophies wont do anyone much good.
 9. My wife called KISD admin and asked if this was true and she was told yes. This sucks so bad for the Kville fans who are always very loyal.  We aparently will be playing Brownsboro and it was the only stadium and day they could agree on. Thats the word on the streets anyway.

I'd like to know where he is at this point compared to last year.
Through 9 games 2009 - 1414 yards 2010 - 1673 yards
To all who said Ford couldn't run in 3A like he did in 2A..You were right !!!! He run better... ;)
I Love It! ;D

 14. I don't believe that Refs are for or against any team. I do think that like anything from a mechanic to a doctor there are good ones and bad ones. No disrespect to any of the good ones ;D it just seems the complaints this season are a little louder and more often. At Diboll I dont think a flag was thrown against the Lumberjacks until the second half and only a couple after that. Now I am not griping.....  it was a blowout anyway but it looked like the refs were cutting them more than a little slack. Holding is holding if you are up by 7 or down 30. It just gets the fans worked up.
 15. I looked at the game thread for the Center-Diboll game. I did not realize that it was as close as it was  22 - 7. Kind of a slow game too. I have heard since preseason that Center was going to be the boogyman we had to look out for even being picked by some to win district. I am not going to say that Center can't beat Kville but after Diboll things look good for the 'Cats.
 16.
Somebody from Center is on smoaky talking about how Kirbyville went to watch Center play Diboll just to see how good Center is and how they will beat Kirbyville! lol  Must be something in the water up there ;D  Not sure they have heard of scouting...
I dont think Kirbyville is "worried" about anyone. Like Lefty said..... its called scouting. Cats have respected all the teams they have played and since Diboll and Center are both in our district it seems only logical to watch them play each other.
 17. Fans have always complained about refs. It seems like it is part of the job of a fan to raise a little cane when the guys in the stripes are not looking at things from our point of view. I have seen a few bad calls this year and more than a few missed calls. The final play of the 'Cats last game the Refs did not throw a flag on an obvious penalty. Weather they did not see it or weather they decided not to call it just because it would not have made an bit of diference in the outcome of the game is anybody's guess. It does seem like there are a lot more complaints this season. You expect it sometimes from the losing side but some games it is even comming from the winners. I have read on more than one fan that the refs were "againt them" were "cheating" even that they refs were being bought off. I can't believe that these refs have any direct interest in who wins. Are n't they are agreed upon by the coaches before the game? I think that there are no conspericies involved but there does seem to be a growing problem. IMO some of them just suck but they do spread it around. In your opinion is it one of the following. 1. Fans are just more sensitive due to the importance placed on HS football in this area? 2. H.S. athletes are playing at a higher level and refs are not keeping up? 3. Refs just lack skills / training? 4. Refs really are bias, taking bribes, blind, ignorrant, (insert opinion here) 5. No problem at all.
 18. I heard Aarron Breed after the game saying that he just "reacted" on the onside kick was not trying to score just started running. I also heard him say they (Diboll) should have just kicked it deep and we probably would have just ran out the clock that close to the end. Can 't blame the young man for playing good football.  Most of the scores were due to Diboll fumbles. Can't ask the offense to just lay down.
 19.
it was actually 14 carries  and 19 yards per carry
you are right. 14 carries, 19.5 yards per, 273 yards
 20. Ford almost made the 300 yard mark.   273 yards on 19 carries.
 21. All Kirbyville has to do now is keep their head on straight and they can beat just about anyone. They get a little sloppy when they get a big lead but always come through when they need to. Tighten up their game and play every down like they are capable of and they can beat anyone you put in front of them. Kville 48 Center 14
 22. Great game! Does anyone have the stats. Ford made some fnatanstic runs. Even played some D and made a tackle. Had him back deep on that last kick from Diboll. Vanya and Cucancic both made some catches. D was very solid. And what can you say about BREED! Only dark spot in Kvilles game was the kicking (PAT). Certain people can do it certain people can't. I think we know who they are. It looks like we found a way to get them to play full throttle all four quarters. Just shut off the score board at halftime! ;D
 23. I listened to this game on the way home from Diboll. The Nac offense would score but no 2 point conversion so the Nac. defense was just standing there letting Jacksonville score a TD then would man up and stop them from conversion. Game should have been over in regulation but Nac. mised a PAT. Jascksonville scored and had the game with seconds left and missed their PAT. May be out of the playoffs but what a way to go! No one can say they did not go down fighting.
