I thnk you guys were highly over-rated team that haven't played nobody to stop you guy's running game sense the last time you played us all the hype about Ford you guys running back but he only had 65 yrds the whole game, but Gilbert on the other hand had 235!!! We should had beat you guys by way more not counting the last TD Gilbert scored that they called back in the two times we was on our goal line and couldn't score!!!  But please dont be sore losers come & watch us next week and wear your black & red with the Coldspring symbol!!! ha ha ha!!!
You talk alot of crap man....lets see what yall do next week. Anyways enjoy your first ever win over the Wildcats. We will be back next season  ;)
Yea u right i am just thursday you guys was on here doing the samething so i thought it would be only right to give you guys a taste of your on medicine,& yes lets see what we do next week one thing i do know for sure we will be playing!!!!!
A true test of a winner is how he handles victory along with defeat ... First of all I will give props to the Coldsprings players and staff for playing their heart out executing a brilliant game plan against Kirbyville.. IMO this difference maker was not gilbert ... but cummings ... runs with heart and toughness ... No excuse will come from this poster ... We didnt make adjustments when we needed to on offense and it came back to hurt us (we were passing at will at the beginning .. why not say with that...) ...  I will say this though ... you talk about how this could have be a bigger victory ... I beg to differ...at least two no calls on pass interference on plays that could have possibly turned the tide ... a fumble in which the ground caused the fumble ... but these ARE JUST EXCUSES, WE HAVE NONE ... so TRY and be a little classier and and be gracious in your post .. I dont think you have it in ya though ... OH and by the way you wont find any post in which i came on here and crowed about a possible Kirbyville victory because I knew it would be a tough game ....by the way one of the personal foul penalties were a result of incidents in which Coldspings player punched a guy in the neck ... I think this type of thing could eventually come back to haunt them ... play hard, but play clean ... and before ya say anything this is not the first time I read about this type of thing from your team ....
 2.
Right on dude, how many points has K'ville given up the last 2 playoff games to teams with a combined 13-10 record? 55. CS will score some points too. More than K'ville.
Alright dude you played whom ... a Liberty squad that Kirbyville second string could beat and a Columbus team whom defense is not exactly thier strong suit ... we played Brownsboro ... who scored thier points against second teamers (except for the first 7) and LaVega who had scored 42 the previous week against a 9-1 team ... so go ahead and believe what you want ... lets see what ya can do against our defense ...  ;)
 3.
I guess now I have to find a Kirbyville shirt to wear. ;D
We have a nice one that was made with Reggie's name and number on the back ... could try to find ya one ...
 4.
I'm really excited this game is going to happen.  I felt we had a good shot at beating Kirbyville the first time around.  It was looking good until after halftime when it was tied at 6. A couple of crucial fumbles and mistakes made the difference.  One big factor for us was breaking in a brand new quarterback.  West Orange dominated us for a few years and then last year we had a breakthrough.  I'm hoping for that breakthrough to come next Friday against Kirbyville.  Y'all have a very good team over their and should be respected.  This will not be easy by any means.  I think this could have easily been a semi-final game or quarter-final game.  Good luck to both teams.
just for your information...the first game we played ya we didn't have #3 Ervine or #10 Keene ... two of the vital cogs in our offense and defense .... just saying .... Kirbyville will win ...

You wont be there to find out! Coop..do you ever think that the other team may have something to do with those turnovers? You area always on here crying about WOS coulda shoulda woulda's. Bottom line BR was the better team tonight. I congratulate WOS QB for an outstanding season. I know you had a lot on your shoulders. Prayers continue to go out to the GArrett family.
We'll be back!!! 90% of this team returns next year. Enjoy it this year!
Thanks ...we will be enjoying it for at least another week... I think you guys have wonderful kids and have responded very well to the tragedy you have faced ... however, at the risk of the wrath of the WOS gods ... don't ya think it's time to look at your recent playoff losses and see a common thread ... adjustments need to made in game ...football is a lot like chess ... a young sharp mind may be needed ... pretty sure there are some around Orange ... With the athletes you possess ... you should be like Brownwood ... and unlike some posters who will come on here, I was looking forward to a rematch ... to prove that no excuses are needed when we won ...

 7.
People can say what they want about the game last night but the QB from LV was a heck of an athlete and determined to get a win for his team. You have to respect how he played and anyone that says their team could have handled him easily is kidding themselves. If you break it down I dont think the Cats played horrible. They never really got into rythm on Offense but it did not look like they were not executing it looked like the play calling was a bit predictable. May be Jack was just playing his cards close to his chest. Other than the QB running all over the feild the the D looked Ok.  If they could have stopped him no one would be complaining. I want to say Cucancic comes through everytime we need him to. So thanks Caleb. People are saying that this is worst game Kville has played all year. I think it can be the game we learn the most from. They are the same team they were at 7:30 yesterday.... they just have a hard fought win under their belt.
Talked to a relative of mine who said he believes this is the same kid that gave state champ gilmer fits when he play against them last year .... good athlete and great player .. good win for k ville
 8.
When in bracket play, all you care about is advancing. You take an ugly win over a pretty loss, no question about it.
You are wise sir....great post
dude chill, yall wont even get to the state title game, WOS will beat kville. hard to beat a team twice in a season. after thursday night yall dont have to worry bout Brownwood.
Dude...I dont know who ya are and I really dont care .... you are really classless though ... and a wagon jumping fool ... but that's okay ... you have your opinion ... we all know you have been exposed as a classless fool ... I respect vemon, WOSGRAD, hell even COOP...stay with their team... win or lose... but if you are gonna support a team ... support them ... drink that coolaid ... dont jump on another just because they are the new flavor this year .... hell bet ya had ADHD as a kid :o :o :o :o
 10.
La Vega may score first here, and remember Last week was the first time K-Ville was behind (7-6)since the WOS game (7-6), and only the third time all season....I think the RB's getting to the outside fast (early) will help generate momentum in this game.  BOth teams will be in a bus for 2hrs +, so early tightness and jitters may be seen on both sides....La Vega was at the Brownsboro game, and were amazed by Ford and Breed...and the entire swarm of Defense.....They admired Jones' ability to stay calm and throw down field, but also commented on the "over throws".  All this may mean zip in 7 hours and 45 min, b/c if the Cowboys and Beat the Giants this year, and the Browns can beat the Patriots....How predictable can Football be ?  I am going with the stats...KVILLE 43 La Vega 29
Great prediction ... final 43 - 35 .. i believe .. QB from LaVega is a beast
 11.
I'm glad that all you Mustang fans are concerned about Kirbyville's opponent in the state title game!!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D  ... LMAO
 12.
congrats on the win kville!  you play like this the next 2 weeks you will be going home.  congrats though!
Same thing happened last year against Anahuac ... ugly game then rolled off some good games... Think our district hurt us in the long run ... say what ya want kirbyville will be okay next week .. gives Jack some ammunition to fire the kids up ... a win is a win ...
 13. I think Coach Barbay from Coldsprings is one of the front runners

Every week you can read the press from the hometown of who we are playing. They think he is the whole team. They do have to focus on him or he will make them pay but he is a team player and an unusually unselfish player for an athlete of his caliber. He has that rare vision of the feild. But while the D is worried about him Burman physically TAKES his yards and Haywood is accross the line before they notice he has the ball. If you watch Ford during the game he is just as happy when any of them do well. Thats a lot of weapons but thats not even close to all that La Vega has to worry about because it looks like the two biggest game changers every week are Breed and Cucancic. No game plan can shut those two down because they are everywhere at once. Mike Tyson said once "Everybody has a plan.....Until they get hit" and if that hit come from either  Breed or Will Tyler you can bet that plan just changed!  You can have your D-backs shadow Ford all night but as a whole this team is tough.
He may be happy when other players get the ball and do well, but he sure doesn't block for them worth a crap. I know, I've seen the film.
Then you have not watch the right film ... been in the stands for every game ... blocks when told to ... heywood goes off on a long run last week from a block by ford ... go back to the Bridge City game and see the Bridge City player he FLIPPED to let Heywood break of another run ...  :o
Oh and by the way I do watch the blockers every game ... was a very good lineman in my time ..blocked for a weatherspoon in pineland ... cant help myself from looking at the line during the game ... drives my family and friends nuts in the stands when I talk about this one moving his hand before the snap and this one holding etc.. and I will tell them when we got away with something we shouldnt have ... so dont speak when ya dont know ...

 16. Not good at all the Kville jv were winless but most of the really good players were on varsity
 17. I have heard from Fred Ford himself that he is really interested in going to Stephen F. Austin
 18. You can't compare Kirbyville and the 5A schools when PAM and WB have more than five Times the kids of kville. $LilWildcat11$ AKA BigWildcat11's son

Just keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better ;)
Define close...NO WAY...HEAD TO HEAD?  give me some of what your smoking.
A scene from Hoosiers is when Hackman takes them to the gym measures the goal ... it's ten feet ... court is the same as thier little one back in Hickory ... tells them the game is still the same ... all this talk about the size of the school is irrelavent ... The question is ...Is your starting 11 on defense and offense better than our starting 11 on offense and defense ... I don't think so ... next your gonna talk about depth ... hell we've been playing iron man football all year .. almost everyone goes both ways and special teams ... If you pay attention to the games Kirbyville plays better the longer the game goes ... So go ahead and say what ya want ... but give respect to the little guys who has so far kicked some *** ..
 20. Actually brownwood is going to be D2 and Abilene Wylie whose in their district is going to be D1
 21. Actually we weren't running the score Diboll just kept on putting the ball on the ground and they couldn't stop our offense. We have no freshman on varsity and Brooks played on jv this past week
 22.

I have seen this twice. At a playoff game I was waiting in a long line at the bathroom. A Kville fan lit a cigarette which he should not have done but a cop jumped on him and put him on the ground and cuffed him like he tried to kill someone. The guy claimed that he did not even relalize that he lit it that he just did it out of habit. But they drug him out of there just the same. Why not just have him put it out, give him a ticket or ask him to leave? A few years ago (may be 6) Kville fans got the same reception in Silsbee. Four cops lined up on the track looking up in the stands and one across the field with bioculars scanning the crowd. Did not give you a warm welcome feeling. First time there was a call the fans did not like it got real tense. No expanation for the high security.
I will call BS on this......I personally know this did not happen.....NOT in Silsbee
You must be smoking something if you say this didn't happen .. I was at the game ... cops followed me and my teenage sons out into the parking lot after the game ... must have been because one son is half hispanic and the other had long blond hair ... good kids, just loud and into the game .. told us to hurry and leave ... were standing looking into the stands the whole game ... by the way, not the first time i've heard this about bridge city .... don't talk if it didn't happen to you ...
 23. Just got back from Jasper Game ... Ben Armstrong is a good running back .... BUT ..... Fred Ford - 20 carries for 315, 1 reception (I think) for about 15 .... This is the numbers he has when he plays a whole game ...Nuff Said
