1. I haven't posted at all thus far this season. The posts from certain posters claiming to be Wildcat fans have been ridicuous  True fans understand the game and respect others opinions  That being said this game comes down to tackling and execution. If the cats tackle and execute their offense then this could be a tight hard fought game.  From what my friends in newton tell me. Tackle Roberts. Stop EC. I hope for a good game with no injuries.  Lord knows Kirbyville does not need any more[sub][/sub]

 4. Kirbyville will be fine this year....Red and Jacko should be all healed up by next week as well as Josh Breed who was one of the starting linebackers last year but has been out for months because of a torn meniscus. Also Harrell Brooks who led the team in tackles last year will be back by the 3rd or 4th game. #10 and #80 were just filling in until they get healthy. Oh and the new away jerseys for Kirbyville are a lot better than the home ones....you can actually see the numbers lol

Kirbyville during the past few years did not run the score up on anyone anymore than any other school did against the weaker schools in the area.  That comment was obviously made to take a shot at program that you obviously have a personal vendetta against so dont give me this crap about stick to the sports debate.
Facts? Go back and pull up the thread "Kirbyville Playoff predictions". It is there for you to read. I'm all about the facts. Go back and also pull up the scores against the smaller schools that you guys played in 2007 and 2008. I'll bet the coaches and fans from all of those schools would see it differently. No one feels sorry for Kirbyville. You run ended with Fords graduation. If the baby is ugly the baby is ugly. You will never find a personal comment from me. I have no personal vendetta except for 'unrealistic" and "out of touch fans" which are in abundance in KVille.
Ok ... Falcon  .... remind me how many state title games your team has been in .... you know ... how many playoff games they have won .... I'm talking about last ten years here ... educate me ....  ... don't know much about Huffman ... other than that you are Coldspring's little wipping boy .. Oh and this run at Kirbyville ... it started off similar to this years ... rebuilding in Kirbyville started from two straight 0-10s .... so we know about trying times .... the run began with players who had to learn how to win ... this rebuilding starts with this new group.... So go back and check your facts ... As for the teams in  2007 and 2008 ... those were district games .. we have no control over who we played .... I was at those games .... Kirbyville took the foot off the gas .. it could have been worse .... look at the preseason games those years and you will see larger schools than Kirbyville .... so shut up ... go to mommy ... get your milk ... and just remember a famous quote " Keep silent and everyone thinks your a fool, speak and remove all doubt".
I agree with you. The bottom line is that right now, today, Kirbyville is terrible and rebuilding. And regarding Huffman, the team is 9-2 and still in the playoffs. That is all that matters. I am going to get my milk.
...Still didn't answer my question ... how many title games ... how many playoff wins ... Won't answer that ... hmmm ...  I would like to see if you would have been 9-2 playing Kirbyville's schedule ... don't think so ... So go on ... hate ... shows your total lack of class ... I, on the other hand, will wish your team the best ... something I don't think you could do ... you have to put others down to make yourself feel better ... make me wonder about your manhood (or lack thereof).

 7.
New season Kats! It started this week and everyone is 0-0. Forget about records and who played who. Go after Rusk with all you got and let the chips fall where they may. Wouldn't it be great to be undefeated after this Saturday!! From an old close neighbor that happens to wear purple: Go get 'em Wildcats!! ;)
Had our differences ... but thanks ... Go Cats .... Go Eagles ...
 8.
ARE YOU KIDDING!  A 3-7 team playing a 2-8 team in the playoffs?  Has that ever happened?  I'll take Rusk since they were only blown out twice vs Kirbyville who has been blown out 5 times.
Let's compare non district schedules for these teams .... Rusk played Center, Crockett, Gladewater, Fairfield, Westwood, Diboll ... are they all in playoffs .... NO... Kirbyville played Coldsprings, Newton, Vidor, Bridge City, Wills Point, West Orange Stark ... I believe every team on our non-district schedule either was district champs, second in district, or in playoffs (exception may be Wills Point) ... two common opponents ... both lost to Center, both beat Diboll ... I'll take my CATS ...
 9.
Unless Kirbyvilles defense has a complete turn around from last week this is gonna be a long night but the offense is doing great though.
Hopefully this will be a good game ... Proud of these young men ... down year, but they have never quit .... The last game was tough ... Offense was good, and put team in a position to win ... defense needs to tighten up .... No excuses ... However, considering that the defense was down three starters for most of the game against Center (Jacko is out for the year, Brooks is out, possibly for the year, Dodson was out most of the game against Center, but hopefully will have him back against Rusk), and we had subs come in (and they played their best given the situation), it was a work in progress on the fly ...let's see how they do with a week of practice as starters ... We still the heart of the team though .... just got to get the rest of the body together ... play hard, play clean ... good things will come ... Good Luck
 10.
I picked Jasper over Kirbyville last week not out of ill will, but I thought Jasper was playing a little better ball. Kirbyville surprised me at making it closer than I thought it would be. I've not seen them since the second week of the season. That says to me that Kirbyville is finding their game at the right time of the year. They should continue to play hard each week with the playoffs in their sight. Don't pay attention to people like me that might have had some doubt and bring everything you got. I think you have a real good chance to win out the rest of the regular season and then everyone is 0-0 in the playoffs. Kirbyville team character is not quitting. Play hard and take it to Diboll. Go Kats! ;)
Thank You ... Good Luck to Newton
 11.
Jasper beat center ( had to come from behind to do it!!) diboll beat center ( in ot ) Jasper beat kville What does all this mean?  Probably nothing But I'm picking diboll cause kville is a bunch of thugs...lol  ;D
Such class Tdaddy ... oh never mind, forgot who was posting .... proves my point ... If the behavior of the adults near the K'ville locker (taunting the players as they were walking off the field) is any indicator ... I can now understand the behavior of the Jasper players on the field ... can see why the players from Jasper do what they do ... prove is in the film ... watched the highlights from KJAS ... at least three times you can see hits after the play is over ... cheap shots ... And don't say I'm whining ... if you read my post after Jasper game ... made no excuses .. Jasper won ... but beating your chest ... man ... At least we are playing a team with some class this week.
 12. Went to the game friday ... I bet there was some people on the Jasper side thinking what was going on ... especially from the posts prior to the game .... guess what ....Kirbyville was not Huntington ..  Jasper had to earn this ... Kirbyville players have had to play like this in every game ... have taken thier lumps and have grown up .... giving it their all ... I could not be more proud of those young men from Kirbyville ... as for the "aggressive" play .. that's part of the game ... It's not baseball ... it's a violent sport .... if you have ever played, you know the adrenaline gets pumping ... kids say things ... do things ... and I would hope Jasper's coach will address the behavior of his players on Monday, as I assure you Kirbyville's coach will with his players ....  No excuses ... Jasper won ... However, The problem I did have was the behavior of some stupid Jasper fans, Grown men, who were taunting the players as they were walking back to the locker room ... Grow up ...
 13. Went to this game ...worth the price of admission .... The Twine Boys are amazing ...If Hemphill had any defense they would a force .... Seen the best play on Twines touchdown throw ... WOW.
 14.
Cmon cats!!
Amen brother ....C'mon play hard ...Lets go guys ...
 15.
obviously gray's yard are more respectable... he is a runningback playing 5A football... are this QB's yard from scrambling or designed running plays??? how good was that team they beat scoring 77? they are like 3A right?
No dog in this hunt .... BUT ..... yards are yards .... 11 on 11 right ... the games he is having and the yards he is putting up, I am sure, are just as hard as Gray's ... (by the way Aledo is 4A, dufus) ... Another one of those big school ...we are superior, people ... GEEZ
 16.
Negative "fans".... that sit in the stands and talk poop on their own team...that annoys me >:(
AMEN ....  ;D ;D ;D

Moving Red around from QB to RB to WR to DB is truely getting helping. Is Jacko ok?
Thanks for making my point .... such class .... Tarzan I've been in Austin and (yawn) missed reading a bunch of these post. This one is the most intelligent thing I have seen a Kirbyville poster say. Exactly right. As for BigWildcat11, Kvillecats, and kville68 they are bound to be clones of one "fan" that try to be real good at dishing out insults that make absolutely no sense about things THEY posted. I didn't start anything about class, chest beating, coaches not teaching fundamentals, or running off tackle. I did point out the fallacies of their thinking in my opinion. Kirbyville has a lot of good, loyal fans. These three just don't happen to be amongst them. 8)

Jane!!! Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha! You can go back and get your wife to read you what was posted by the group I mentioned and maybe you can get someone to explain to you what ya'll said.
....Tarzan....I use this because that is your mentality level .... Your level of humility is almost non-existant ... If you would read the entirity of my post ... I was positive about your team .... I always try to look at the positive from the KATS, although I admit sometimes that does look like making excuses ... so don't lump me in with others .... If you look on the next weeks post for your team ... you will look at nothing but best wishes for your team from me .... Grow up ... Your team won ... Do you really have to spend all your time looking to down others ....

 20. First of all ... while I agree with some of the ideas posted .... I wholeheartedly support this coaching staff .... The decision to go ahead and bring up some of the JV players may mean lack of playing time right now, nothing is like experiencing football on varsity..... and I think that combining the rest of the JV with the freshmen can only serve us better down the line .... Our school and administration have faith in this coaching staff and that they are the ones to lead them ... Let them lead .... They are molding these young boys\men into a group that will be something to deal with down the road ... As a parent of athletes at this school, these young men are excited about what is there for all the sports, not just almighty football (and I love football) ... This group of young men are fighters ... They are learning on the fly and getting better ... They are the group who has braved the heat ... They are the ones who DID NOT QUIT on their teammates .... They are the ones who, no matter what others say continue to fight to get better.... They are the ones experiencing the losses on the field .... They are the ones who have to listen to this junk from some of the people in our community ..... I will not be negative about this group ... they have heard enough of that to last the whole year ...  Everybody has opinions .... Every is entitled to them ... But sometimes, just sometimes ... a positive thought, a good job, a THANK YOU .... would do wonders for them .... To the TEAM ..... Continue to fight, get better, good things will come ... "Do not let current circumstances influence your thoughts and moods. By rising over them mentally, you will eventually rise over them materially and physically". A great quote from Ghandi.
 21.
I'll take Newton...Shorter will give em' fitz!!!  N 26- CC 20
Good luck Newton .... make our little area proud ....
 22.
we will be playing an undefeated 4A in Vidor :o
... I have generally stayed out of this topic due to one poster (ie..ChampionEagle ... who is a word class @**^^###, with a general lack of class) and the general tone of this thread ... I would like to address three things ... First ... Most, not all I admit, of the Kirbyville posters have given Newton their due. .... I generally have tried to be positive when posting (although sometimes I have tended to let my emotions get the best of me and have said some things i will later regret) ... So from a Kirbyville fan let me say congrats to a good win by Newton ... You played well and took advantage of what was there ... Newton has a good young team with a loads of talent .... Yes, Newton has a longer tradition ... Yes, you won Friday night ... That number 11 is a beast .... WT is a good coach ... Good luck the rest of the season .... Secondly ... To some of the Newton posters who have tried to be derogatory and generally negative ..... Go beat your chest ... (ChampionEagle aka Tarzan is probably in his bathroom doing that now) .... Some advise though ... "Do you wish to be great? Then begin by being. Do you desire to construct a vast and lofty fabric? Think first about the foundations of humility. The higher your structure is to be, the deeper must be its foundation." Saint Augustine Third... that Kirbyville team played their hearts out, gave it their all ... left it all on the field ... That game was a a great step forward for them ... the offense showed up ... Goins looked good ... Red ran with conviction ... Big Jake is a gamer ... Lil Will was his normal self (all out, all the time)... ALL the players showed emotion and were fired up ... This team is getting better week by week ...  I am immensely proud of them .... To that Kirbyville team “Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence, faith and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan "press on" has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race” ... a great and true quote by Calvin Coolidge.
 23.
Yea cause its sunday and looking at the post seems like kville expects to lose and vidor seems to think they allready won.
Except for this Newton poster ... this seems to be like a good and generally positive thread ... such a refreshing change from last week. ... from what I've read Vidor is rolling and is a large tough team ... the Kats are young but determined and getting better ... gotta pull for my Kats .... good luck to both teams .... play clean, be disciplined, and lets have some good football.
 24.
Kirbyville played hard. Good luck throughout the rest of the season Kirbyville.
Thank You ... that is a very classy statement ... Good luck to Newton ...
