LT 20-0 with .20 left in 1st. LT making this undefeated Woodlands team look bad.

14-0 LT still in the 1st. Watching these higher classifications the size and talent is very noticeable.

Highland Park wins 16-7. Scotts put a defensive clinic on Temple.

Really looking forward to the LT game. Saw them last week and they look unbeatable. After watching Atascosita the week before beat NS I thought they would be game for LT. It was one of the worst beat downs I have seen in a semi final game. 56-7 in the 3rd before LT started playing everybody. Of course the Woodlands are an excellent team and LT has lost one this year I believe. I think LT has 6 kids on DC top 300 and the other starters don't drop of much from there. Offensive line is massive. They spread the ball everywhere through the air and the kid at running back was a receiver earlier this year and is nasty. On another note I could be way off but I'm thinking the Desoto game will be a much closer game.

Last of the smaller school games but still some big boys out there.

LT could have put up 77+ if they wanted to. LT pretty much pulled all their starters towards the end of the third quarter. Atascosita scored 2 of their tds on LT's backups. Woodlands will have their hands more than full. Talent and great coaching are hard to overcome. I think The Woodlands are an excellent team this year though.

LT took a couple years to adjust to the 6a level but coaching and money seem to go a long way.

Terrio Brown going down early hurt them bad. Their QB was only a sophomore but big and athletic. I think next year even with sub par coaching they will be a tough out for most teams in our district.

To your point this is not the most talented team I have seen at WOS. But they play better as a unit than any WOS team I have seen. Defense is suffocating.

Wow complete shocker. Would like to see the stats for the game. Last week CP had 4 turnovers and still managed around 400 yds passing. I thought Manvels pass defense was very suspect but definitely didn't see Temple beating them. Guess anything can happen in the playoffs. Congrats to Manvel on a great year.

Next year NC Crosby BH Humble and KP all have really good qb's coming back.

CP beat Conally 49-0. Temple beat Conally 17-14. They can throw it though and Manvel had a little of a hard time defending the pass. Still say Manvel by 28+. Nuff said. Lol

Great return game. Actually got Manvel a td. Also 2 of CP turnovers gave Manvel the ball inside the 20. Which meant even fewer yards for tds. My point was both of these were very good and IMO turnovers is what made the difference. Neither team was even close to 100 yds rushing. I think Manvel had around 80 and CP around 50. I was actually shocked at how many points were scored. I think Manvel rolls Temple and then takes state. CP was the only team IMO that had a chance at beating Manvel.
