St Pius always is loaded with D1 talent. Kid will be one to watch for sure. A lot of people don't realize how good some of these private schools are and the talent they have.

I didn't go anywhere you did. Besides other than the first round everybody except PAM gave Temple all they could handle. Just saying you got stomped by a good team doesn't say much to me. Guess HP was a different kind of white bread too. I actually just call good ball players good ball players just used your simplistic metaphor for HP. Man just face the facts PAM is a high enrollment school that struggles against other high enrollment schools. All I heard for years is if PAM just dropped down a classification look out. Well they dropped down and got a share of a district championship and a early butt thumping exit in the playoffs. Now back on subject. PNG qb is legit because he is a stud not because being surrounded by white boys from PNG gives him the illusion of being good. PS. Just be glad y'all didn't play WOS because I saw both of your teams last year and WOS would have handed PAM a beat down.

So a Temple beat PAM by 32. Temples other four wins were by a combined 35 I believe. Then Temple plays a slow small rich school and struggled to put up 7 freakin pts on a bunch of kids that looked a lot like PNG. Get over race and quit acting like PAM is some powerhouse. Some good talent yes but year end and year out mediocre results.

He is not all that impressive physically. So I'm not sure about the physically look like him comment. Fact is he has above average speed with a really nice arm and deserves all the attention he is getting because he is that good despite not being a physical freak. Saying he wouldn't start for PAM is laughable to me. Your argument that just because he plays for PNG makes him look better than he is tells me you know more than a ton of D1 recruiters. Any team in our area would love to have that kid at qb.

Lol. Manvel is definitely loaded. Main thing is come away injury free and should know without a doubt who is a gamer after this one. I remember when Dayton used to schedule way up non district. In 2010 Dayton played IKE, Angleton when they had Diggs and tons of talent. Then followed that up with a Elkins team that was stacked. Started off 0-3 but ran the table after that and wound up going 3 rounds deep and catching LM I believe. I think I will be catching this game. Crosby has the best atmosphere in our district and the facilities are nice.

Very true. Craig Williams is 3 star recruit I believe and if he is healthy is by far the best back in our district. He has had issues the last 2 years staying on the field but is blazing fast.

Crazy as it sounds I think Daytons biggest game will be against Splendora. The kid from Splendora ran for well over 300 yds against Dayton last year which is by far the most yds by a rb against Dayton in at least the last 20+ years. It's a game Dayton should win but it's also a game if they lose will most likely put Dayton finishing under .500 again. I think their other big game will be Humble because that game could possibly be for the 4th playoff spot.

Stewart was also a successful head coach before taking this job. Big difference between the hiring of Stewart and this last hire. I have talked to several of the kids on this years team and wish them the best. Also have talked to several coaches and they know they have their work cut out for them this year.

Believe me I haven't missed even a handful of games in the last 18 years. I was just trying to make the point that even though you said you never entered a game defeated the fact was Dayton was horrible. Going into a game believing your going to win isn't the same as actually winning. It took a great coach to turn this program around. Kids believed they were going to win and they had a coach that made sure they were prepared and did win. It literally took another staff 1 year to post the worst record for Dayton since 1995. I hope your right though and Dayton goes 10-0 and I will surely give credit where it's do.

How long did it take Stewart to take a bottom dweller program at Dayton to the playoffs? Also didn't answer my question on your record.

Mind me asking what your record was when you played. I'm just assuming you played in 93 or 94?

Don't think they played in any state qualify tournaments.

Oh I don't know if they will beat everybody. I just think other than Crosby they should be favored in every other game. I believe they were 8-2 last year and will be better this year. They return some good talent and will have a full year under their belt with some excellent coaching. Just prior to last year BH was horrible and last year they were very close to beating a nice PNG team and playing in the second round. A good coaching staff can turn a program around in a hurry. Just like a bad coaching staff can ruin a program in a hurry.

Yes he did. Watched him since little dribblers at the hill and he was always a great kid and athlete.

His name was Skylar Langelier. Kid was about 5'9 150 but could definitely ball. BH will continue to improve and will have nice QB play this year. Not sure if they will beat Crosby but every other game they should be favored.

Not me. Crosby and BH finish 1 and 2 barring injuries. I actually think Crosby will be better st the qb position and I like the rb that will be backing up Williams a lot. NC should finish top 3 or 4. All 3 of these teams return really good qb's and have the best coaching staffs. If Humble doesn't beat their self like they do every year they have a great shot at the playoffs with that kid at qb. They have talent all over the field but just implode. I do think Dayton has enough talent to possibly take 4th place but wouldn't put money on it. I think after the top 3 teams it's a huge drop off.
