Marshall not nearly as good as they have been in the past. 3rd round will definitely be tougher but I think PNG and Crosby both win big next week.

I really don't think this game will be close. I would be shocked if Crosby didn't win by at least a couple tds. This region in d2 is down IMO and ripe for the picking. At least until the regional finals. CP going D1 really opened this region up.

I know me and my wife enjoyed it. Very impressed with both teams. Saw some big hits and good physical football. It was a very big crowd for both sides. Reminded me of old Dayton games with a big turn out.

Think both teams played well on defense the second half. I believe both teams only scored 1 offensive TD the second half. Nice adjustments on both sides. Kinda interested to see the stats.

Wouldn't call running an int back when the games over classless. Would say it's not the smart play.

Pretty easy to kick it away from the only deep back. Both teams playing hard though. Severa mistakes from both teams could have this game a lot different.

Not sure I understand the onside kick by Vidor with around 2 minutes left till half. Make em go the length of the field. I will say an entertaining game.

Hate to be a downer but if all the studs were on jv maybe they should have been moved up. Fact is usually the kids that are going to be the difference makers on varsity don't play jv. I'm actually thinking more like Liltex.

BH Crosby both have good coaching and programs no particular order. NC like their QB a lot solid top 3 IMO. Porter excellent coaching seems to find ways to win. KP ran for 300+ on us figure they will be better with their best player coming back and a lot of starters coming back. Humble tons of athletes would be my dark horse for a playoff spot. Rest of the district will struggle to win more than 3 district games.

Wow Max preps is good. They already have Fort Bend Marshall playing Crosby on the 18th. Think I'm going to actually be able to make this game. Crosby has a nice run defense and that is basically all Vidor does, although Vidor does do it well. Hoping to see a good game.

Coaching is everything IMO. BH has went out and got a great head coach and staff. BH has always had more than enough high school talent to be successful and this year is just a beginning to what is to come for the Eagles. Congrats BH and good luck in the playoffs.

Oh I agree the game wouldn't be played at the Butch. The question was posed to me and of course I would like to see it there. Close to the house and a nice place to watch a high school football game. I have to disagree about all those teams being better than CP though. Hope they go D1 so we can find out. CP shut out a Vandegrift team that Westalke only beat 17-10. Also killed a Midway team that beat Temple. Most impressive win to me was the Conally game were they shut them out and held them to less than 100 yds total offense. PC was unbeaten at the time.

That would be even better. I just think these 2 teams are far and away the best 5a teams in the state and if they don't play it would be a shame. I will say crazy things happen in the playoffs and even if they go D1 it's no guarantee one of them doesn't get beat before they meet.

I think we deserve a CP vs Manvel game. Lol. I hope it works out that way. I know I would definitely be there.

24-14 with 2:14 left. Once again out coached and out scored the 2nd half by the worst team I have seen all year. Congrats to all the seniors and keep your heads up. It's not easy when you go into every game with the deck stacked against you.
