1. Congrats ladies.
2. Not against any lineup starting but not having Barnes in it is prob a big no no. Cat can go whole game and he brings the intensity up three fold when he's in. Needs playing time to develop some more but he can open up the outside jumper, just need the shooters to pull up and make them. Tigers develop perimeter shooting and they roll. Jmo
3. LOL!! This wil never eend, still hilarious.
4. Ready for some Regional baseball! Heading to Houston Friday for sure.
5. Lol. Here we go.
6. Ok. So batter is not out but the contacted ball is not in play and judgement on strike or ball. Frequency of this call being made?
7. Stepping out of batters box and contacting a pitched ball.
8. Rule on stepping outside batters box? Still exist?
9. Thanks for ALL the replies. Fantastic info.
10. Expect another solid, if not spectacular season with Reed at the helm but as always I am never gonna underestimate the competitive drive that WOS brings to the table. With WOS' ability to rapidly adapt to game plans midstride and Silsbee's reluctance to change too much within the game itself it almost always results in a close game. Home against WOS helps but I am still going with a 9 - 1 season. Again,  JMO. Go Tigers!

Hit Walk Balk called Error at third ( should have ended inning IMO) if made.... Missed interference call on batter along with another error at third Home run was legit, if it would have gotten to him at all. Too much to ask for one thing not to happen.  All that said....  have to hit and field the ball.  Period. Diboll hung tough and capitalized.
I'm no rules expert so correct me if I'm wrong but I thought a normal swing and follow through cannot be considered batter interference.  I wasn't at the game and I'm assuming the batter had to be deliberate in his actions to be called for interference.  But like I said, if he had a normal swing and follow through with no deliberate or intentional interference then the ump got it right by not calling it.
Just my opinion... Not intended to demean outcome of Dibolls win. Batter was out of box moving toward third when throw was made.  I will concede That it was a judgement call.  Again, do not want to take away from win. It was one point in a busy inning.

14. Should be 42 - 7.  Carthage expanding playbook every series.  Defense playing their hearts out but cant get off the field.  Apparently we have nobody to carry the ball.  Embarassing.
15. Defense keeping them in the game.  They need some rest.
16. Poor decisions at the helm...  cant continue with thay type of mentality.  Looks very shaken and unprepared.
17. Are you referring to the fact that the Carthage kicker (who has kicked 40 yard FG) has a stronger leg than the Silsbee kicker (whose 35 yard FG last week hit the crossbar)?
Were both kicks good?  Yes.  I do not see your point.  3 points equals 3 points.  My version of sarcasm.
18. 45 - 14  Silsbee.  8 min to go.
19. Holmes just shook somebody out of their shoes and walks in for td!  45 - 7.  8 min to go.
20. Stafford lost their starting center and adams has been wrecking shop!  Call the insurance company!  35-7 silsbee with 53 sec in half.
21.
Facemask penalty against orangefield was huge, still believe they missed that one!!! it changed the game!
It was a ball control game.  Solid game plan because Orangefield was selling out on blitz packages.  I counted 7 to 8 in the box ALL night, except for the max protect they dropped into occassionally.  This made it almost impossible to break long runs for Silsbee and when they rolled out or play faked to pass Orangefield had 3 defenders in backfield as well as coverage.  I was impressed by coaches from Orangefield.  Glad to see it taking hold there.  Once Silsbee stopped playing basic defense and started shooting gaps to disrupt misdirection it was over.  Passing game for Orangefield was shutdown.  Over half of passing yards came on one or two plays with busted coverage that went for 30+ each time.  Silsbee had to abandon pass because of poor throwing on Reed's part.  Has to improve accuracy.  Must is a better word. In part, after 90 yard fumble return it was a matter of time for Silsbee's size and strength to take its toll. Great game Bobcats.  Enjoyed football for first time on Homecoming for many a year.  Thanks for that. Now take it to your Orange County brethren and "disrupt" the playoff picture. Go Tigers!!

Just because he coaches on the collegiate level doesn't mean he deserves to be there or is the next Lou Holtz! Lol
Whether or not you served your country has no bearing on how you approach a topic.  This thread was civil until the personal insult entered the frame in place of an intelligent argument.  You were better off keeping quiet....  In My Opinion. 10 year Vet
23. I thouroughly enjoyed watching this young man play in High School and at Lamar. Congrats to Collin and his family.  Keep up the good work and god speed on the injury.
