I seem to remember him being one of the top dual threat QBs in the country...  Guess all those Div I teams scouting him as an athlete were completely wrong about his playmaking ability.  ;) You could also say that West Virginia had no idea what they were doing when they brought him in either.  Please... ::) I watched this young man do things on the field that will transfer to this level anyday.  He man not be able to outrun every player on the field or make 5 -7 defensive players look like fools, but I am betting that if you put him on the field with other "talented" players who were stars themselves it will be interesting to watch. Of course I could be biased about the whole thing...  ::)

Good to Silsbee developing some lineman.  Loved the days of pounding the ground.  Congrats to this young man and good luck.

In listening to the opinionated, here is a phrase my father used to tell me...  I am sure it was told to him at some point in his impressively productive life. "If you want to hear god laugh then tell him about your plans." Making the difference in young mens lives is what the goal should be. Winning is just one of the rewards in character development. The talent is not the problem.  Year in and year out Silsbee defense is weak in scheme.  Maybe the defense is too complicated to learn.....  ???

Pretty sure this is the most boring unimaginative offensive scheme ever run by silsbee.  Must be some rule saying you can only run 5 different plays.  Huffman mixed it up and scored 2 touchdowns after the first two.  Coaching staff keeps getting outcoached.   Good luck tigers.

There are exceptions within those generations.  They are the ones who have seen or felt the price paid. Just my opinion.

Good Game Lumberton Raiders. A few observations: 1)  Aain, second Game where Rhone is cramping badly.  I feel something is wrong here and on a second note is interrupting Silsbee's offense with in and out play.  Hope he solves issue though as he is an excellent athlete. 2)  I was bored stiff with Silsbee's offense.  3 Rushers most of the night and couldnt get off a pass play, unless it was a screen, without Daniels getting hit.  Horrible blocking.  Poor preparation. Lumberton came with a plan and stuck to it.   The result was a steady boring game plan but was effective for a win. 3)  Defense stayed on field the "Whole" first half.  To come out and hold Lumberton to 0 points was something.  Good job D.  Will come in handy later in season. Just my two cents.  Save it or spend it.
