Mike's coverage & broadcast of Memorial's State Title was fantastic. I hope all of the Golden Triangle enjoyed it. The Memorial fans that got to listen to the game because of those donors, keep one thing in mind. Mike does this with little recognition outside of the SetxSports community. Spread the word. Never take our broadcasters for granted because they do not have to do this. I for one will be making sure that the Silsbee community is reminded that we have a gem and a blessing for our sports coverage. It can end at any moment. Respect.

Banging in there low, all over the rim and making free throws. I believe he might have well been the difference, even with Bush and McCain doing there thing. They answered Yates at every turn, free throw, lane drive and three pointer. Amazing game and unbelievable heart. Most teams would have caved in under that pressure. The D1 teams will be lining up soon. Bush might be the next Mugsy Bogues.

Tigers are aggressive on defense and offense. When the fouls start coming they can change their game. No different than years past. Sign of good teams is to make that adjustment, but the bench HAS got to keep it even. Can not lose ground in those situations.

Said it way better than I would have. I'm not beating a dead horse again. Flat out had the best offensive season without having to justify it. The what ifs here and there on playing time just ruined that award for me.

Gonna be some good playoff games in 4A II for couple years. Sad thing is WOS just lost another nondistrict team to play but gained at least two "competitive" teams for district. Better start hitting the phones Stangs.
