Not really criticizing the team. Just providing some interesting stats and how HF matchup is dangerous for the Tigers.

Silsbee has been able to keep players from going both ways this year.  It has made a huge difference for the densive side.  Merely showing that you have to keep Silsbee under 28 to win, imo. 

If Silsbee falters, if it's gonna happen, it will likely happen early 2nd half.

After facing Brazosport, the Zeno talent doesn't scare me as much concerns me.

He is a factor but lucky for us we have gotten an early taste of a seriously Mobile QB.

HF is better this year than any of those teams were, but… So is Silsbee.  I don’t think the tigers blow them out, but I don’t think it’s going to be another 1-score game.  I’ll take the tigers 34-20, and hope like heck I’m wrong.

I agree he is legit as well.  The true test comes in the playoffs when he'll meet some solid secondaries.  He'll win most 1v1 if Brisbane can put it close.

Good news is Brisbane's timing looks exceptional with the other receivers.

Keep improving on the run blocking and it'll be lights out by playoffs.

I have faith in WOS.  They are in our district and nothing would please me more than 9-4A II send teams home for the playoffs as a whole.

This is so true. I always felt that CT and his staff did their best coaching job in 2018. Remember that was right after 4 straight trips to Dallas. The talent level seemed to have dropped that year and at one point the Mustangs were 2-3 just like this year. But even though they were struggling early you could tell there was improvement each week. They ended up winning district and going 4 rounds deep. I still think without the monsoon they played Silsbee in, they would have won that game and advanced to the semifinal. But that’s an argument that’s already been hashed over many times so no need to go over that again. Point is even with talent level not as high as normal the coaching staff that year did an outstanding job of getting the kids ready, coaching them up and putting them in situations where they could be the most successful.
