  1. Top Play by far, Vidor Pirate I have said in many post is ya'll used #43 in more plays ya'll would have won more games. My NDN's will always be my #1 but #43 for Vidor could have been a pass catching machine if he had the chance, that boy has talent!
  2. Great post, I agree let the kids enjoy the moment all us has beens Al Bundy days are long gone. Plan on going to as many games as time allows to watch all our area teams. Good luck to all, pray for no injuries and lets show the state what south east texas can do!
  3. Old thread getting to long and way to much BS. I have been to many baseball game at BH and people have always been very friendly. We had a great season, ya'll worked hard to get into the playoff's, congratulations to both. I'm still old school and believe playoffs should be like they use to be district champ only moves on, maybe two teams. I understand it gives more kids a chance to enjoy the experince but to me it takes away what the top teams from each district have accomolished. PNG benefited from in the past but I still don't like it. Any team can win on a given week whether they are 10-0 or 0-10. Makes the season to long for multi sport kids, adds to injuries and cost the famalies who don't make a lot of money to dig deep if their team goes all the way. Off the soap box and back to the game, good luck BH, hope we have no injuries and let's let the kids play ball and enjoy the moment. Go NDN's!
  4. Where is Hale going again? I want to be sure and follow him just like I do Quizz Rodgers and his brother at Oregon St. Hey Soulja, tell Hale to tlak to his future team about Caleb Harmon, I'd love to see those two have a college career together. I'd save up and fly to those games! Good luck to ya'll!
  5. Whomever made the choice that no playoff games be held at our field should be fired. Other teams deserve to play at a top notch facility and we deserve to show it off.  >:(
  6. Faircloth, but like I always south SOUTH EAST TEXAS sports is the best and all our coaches deserve it! Go NDN's!
  7. Way to go Pirates's 20-4a in the house, let's all go deep. Go NDN's!
  8. 44 is the man, hope to see him on Sundays!. Ya'lls running back wow, he our version of Caleb Harmon. Go deep Central ya'll deserve it!
  9. Since the other thread will go for ever I'll say my peace hear. Central is good! They played great on defense, had a excellent offensive plan and will go far in the playoffs. What speed ya'll have! My only question is why with the way ya'll's defense was playing us so hard did ya'll not let that strong legged kicker go for a field goal in OT? As I said great game ya'll played with class and will go far, good luck! Go NDN's 10-0!
  10. VHS you are right and I apologize, the majority of Vidor fans are true fans. Just been tired of all the hate'n going on from all schools. I moved from TJ to PNG Back in the 70's due to some personal reasons and had a hard time swithing to Purple and White, we are fortunate to have the support base we have. I played against ya'll watch several ex players in other sports because I'm a sports fan. NDN's will alway be my first love but I will never pull against and kid who has talent. I just dont understand why people hate it so much. I think ya'lls fans are picking up the pace and with the coaches ya'll have things should only get better. Good luck tonight, hope they all stay healthy and the best team wins! BY the way use number 43 more often, that kid is a player and should be thrown to at least 10 times a game!
  11. I am going against my own beliefs here about Karma, I try and never pull against another team that my team is not even playing. But after reading all the comments from some Vidor fans about PNG I say go Lions and make it ugly. I respect coach Mathews, the accomplishemnts of the players but as far as some fans I hope you never see the playoffs ever again! I have pulled for the Pirates in baseball, basket ball and even football in some games, but never again. I'll stick to rooting for Bunner at Lamar Baseball because he's a class act,but you fans I'm done!
  12. To all you players who come on this board....do not pay attention to all the crap thet gets spewed by so called fans. The memories you make playing sports you will never forget. Whether you go 10 - 0 or 0 -10 enjoy youself, congradulate the players you meet on other teams. If you compete against a superior athlete enjoy it, one day you may be telling your kids you played against that pro player back in the day. If another player is a dirty or conceded player karma will take of them in life, don't lower your self to that level. Enjoy this time in your life, it only comes once. Let these loud mouth so called fans talk the trash don't get caught up in all this BS. Play your hardest, respect your rivals and have fun! Good luck to all the players, sincere coaches and fans, the rest of you find another way to spend your miserable life other than talking down about young kids, coaches and real fans!
  13. What ever happen to Kendell Briles? Best damn one man show I ever saw!
  14. Aaron Brown,Tom Smiley, Harry Gunner, Bobby Leopold, Leroy Howard, Joe Washington,Tim McKyer,Michael Green,Reggie Lewis,Ronnie Haliburton,Don Rougas,Goose Gouslin,Gary Hammond,Cotton Spyer,Carl Larpenter,Duriel Harris,Joe Bob Isbell, Felman Malveaux, Flip Johnson,Robert Giblin,Mike Simpson,GusHollomon,Louie Kelcher,Kenny Harrison,Johnny Fuller, Dwight Harrison,Bud Hebert,Steve Worster,Jason Mathews,Shane Dronett,Matt Bryant,Bubba & Tody Smith,Jess Phillips,Wayne Moore,C.L. Whittington,Kevin Smith,Greg Hill,Jimmy Colvin,Patrick Gibbs,Larry Keller,Michael Sinclair,Daryl Price,Leland McElroy,Charlie Ford,Reggie McElroy,Herman Fontenot,Jerry Ball,Mickey Washington,Calvin Collins,Earl Dotson,Frank Middelton,Darrell Colbert<Michael Batiste,Enie Ladd,Kevin Smith,William Graham,James Hunter,LeonardGarrett,Reginald Garrett,Curtis Buckley,Warren Wells,,Jerry Levias,Mal Farr,Miller Farr,Anthony Guillory,Alvin Maxon,Bob Pollard,Vance Bedford,Floyd Dixon,Leland Douglas. I can't type no mo, this list is at least 5 years old, so this is a taste of the lack of talent from South East Texas. Dont get me started on the other sports and musical talent! ;D
  15. Soulja, it is what it is and I agree it's wrong to assume and hopefully it will be a mute point. Not the best part of town but we all have our issue's. By the way who is ya'lls #44, here he is the real deal and all ready committed D1 somewhere. I hear he's a good kid, good luck to him.
  16. Zeke's little brother but like I said way over rated just a Jr. he can't handle the pressure! ;D
  17. D.J. is way over rated.... probably wont' even notice him on the field! ;D
  18. Babineaux brothers at Seattle and Atlanta, Matt Bryant till Tampa Bay hosed him (in UFL for now). Jammal Charles, ? Johnson played at Kansas in college not sure which pro team he is on, several line man I can't think of right off hand. I would say 10 -12 minimun. I have a newspaper list Bob West did a few years ago that totaled around 72 and since that list at least 8 -10 more. Several more on the way over the next few years as they finish college. From that list that included players from the 60's on there are 20 super bowl rings as well. If was computer smart enough I would scan and attach the list.
  19. Great news, hope the young man stays healthy, keeps his grades and head on straight. Sounds like he has a great future!
  20. Scratch this! ;D I'm sure you'll go far in life!
  21. For all you football Einsteins out there I'd like to make a challenge to you! DO some research and find me an area in the state that has produced more college and pro players then the Golden Triangle? I consider the GT to include Beaumont, Pt. Arthur, Orange, Nederland, PNG, LC-M, Bridge City, Silsbee, Jasper,Newton,Winnie and even Dayton. (I apologize for those I missed but you get the point) At last count there were over 80 in the NFL alone not to mention the amount of great college players from these areas. Our area may not have had consistent playoff runs but the level of talent is second to none year after year, and the level of fan support is equal. I would hope all the smack we talk to each other is all out of mutual respect. This is an open forum, but for those outside these areas to come in here and say we have not talent and can't compete, *&% @#$! On the subject of my beloved Indians and our rookie coaches, take some time to research where they came from and even more important the level they coached against and learned from. I wish, PNG, Central our other 2 20-4A representives, Dayton, WO-S, Silsbee, Jasper, Newton and all our other South East Texas teams to play hard, show respect and better class than the others and kick some butt! Keep under estimating out area! We might be blue collar trash but we have something money can't buy!
  22. Soulja to this point I have enjoyed your honesty and pride for your team but to make a comment about indian fans thought have popped out is wrong. I grew up in PA and when I moved to PNG during high school and had to go from marron and gold to purple and white was a hard thing to do. I still watch Memorial but there is no substitute for what goes on at PNG. I hope for a good injury free game and we both go deep in the playoffs. See ya Friday!
  23. Good for him, great player. Enjoyed watching him!
  24. No excuse for the lack of reporting on Central, they are a good team, have represented our district and their city well. Bmt. Enterprise should be ashamed, these kids work their butts off and deserve respect win or lose. See ya'll next Friday, lets hope for no injuries, good sportsmanship and a good game. Golden Triangle sports are the best!
  25. Vidor is fun to watch, well coached and always play hard but gotta stay with my MCM buddies go dogs!
