Crosby's two Losses are to the Now #1 and a state top 25 Ennis team, Westbrook has loss to got blown out by Spring westfield, Eisenhower (5-3), Ill give them losing to Katy, also none of thier "great wins" are very impressive. honestly thier predictable they beat the teams they should and the lose to the teams they shouldn't. of course after this week it won't matter you'll either have pam or westbrook falling... judging from what they've done i got PAM in this one.. Ill give PAM an edge on the COugs northshore was a big fish to fry and they did it. Central Beat PAM, yeah good win im pretty sure PAM is a better team now but whatever haven't lost also hasn't really played anyone however... at least westbrook scheduled some good games, also central came very close to losing to Vidor. to say that westbrook would beat crosby is a fallacy. I think it'd be a good game, and yet again another instance of Beaumont bias... I respect the golden triangle i just wish they'd give respect where its due.

Our defense has a problem... well i guess its a problem, other teams can't seem to keep thier QB's healthy against the Cougs 3 weeks 6 QB's seen...

Sensible conclusions... But i still think BH has bigger problems than the Crosby Defense, i.e. that running game.

And you agree with this? If I were making those rankings, I would probably have placed Dayton behind Crosby (which I did in my power rankings), especially the way Crosby manhandled the Broncos. However... I agree the single thing these polls can't take into effect is major overhauls fo teams (such as what happened to Crosby's defense between week 2-3. Like the BCS or any other poll, if the #4 team losses to an unranked opponent, that doesn't automatically vault that team over the other. The losses Crosby had at the beginning of the year do take into account where they are ranked, but as I have said before, these rankings are pointless, the only ranking that matters is to be the last team left in this area still playing football. If Crosby continues to improve, they do stand a chance of taking out Vidor, then who knows, rounds 2 and 3 in region III won't be that tough.

Legally thiers the idea of spillover laws that are currently taking root in other states... For instance Missouri has Day night clause which functionally says when its class time the school is your parent... whatever that means and thus can punish you for anything you do... I think these are extremely fascist rules and i think the government if far over stepping thier boundraries, but this is all a symptom of Bush's No child left behind, which specifically designates a childs riight to "protection" and a Schools right to "enforce" that protection, the problem is it doesn't stipulate what they protect the child from, so possibly (and in some states) it means complete protection from other and themselves, thus justifiying "parenting". Im not sure of texas law on this but its obvious schools are overstepping thier boundaries

That didn't answer the question. Is Merka gonna be ready to play against BH? They wouldn't of played him in the second half is he weren't gonna play this game... (I'll get a definitive answer is a little bit)

Have to throw it out their I think the Top three Games are easily SIlsbee over WOS PAM over Northshore And Crosby over Dayton... Ill justify the last because its the only one not mentioned. It was the defacto District championship game, it did determine the seeding of the playoffs... Also first time in 9yrs Crosby has beat Dayton. But more importantly its the classic underdog story... Look at our kids in crosby their tiny... It was liek the Little Giants all over again... (movie refrence) Also it was beginning to end dominance. the only good Dayton drive ends with a PICK. The second best drive a strip, and then dayton hands the rest of the game to the coogs... My choice because It had the district implications, Underdog winning and what it means for the school by my calculations this means PAM V. North Shore is comparable... and Silsbee Vs WOS is as well. Anything other than those three simply don't have the Necessary baggage, or emotion involved. But imno just my opinion

On know it was a scrimmage but PNG handled PAM early. Both teams have gotten better every week. Id say their defense didn't prove they are a number 1 team, they did give up 40+ points this week.

Honestly PNG Central should be 1A and 1B its like the SEC thing Florida/Alabama, theyll have thier defacto championship game.

Playing defense. From my sources (haven't made it to a game) but im going to the BH game next week. Crosby's defense is swarming. My buddy John said they "look like bees, moving to the ball so quick." My buddy Trea said "they remind me of how college defenses play up in the zone and just swarm to recievers" Trea also said that thier was a screen pass tonight in which 6 crosby defendeders got to the wide reciever behind the line of scrimmage.
