Keep hearing 5 starters weren't playing (including Judy, i was like were is he hes normally in on every play) I believe we had a backup safety in as well who got burnt 3 times. but beyond this i'll say this three words Outright District Champions. also 7-0 in district... Honestly I'm not worried, it didn't look like crosby's same defense because ti wasn't... Tell Dayton to take out thier 5 best defensive players then see if they don't give up some points... Also... Who throws a freaking Fade route when thier WR is shorter than the CB..... Great play call for a critical play. (Crosby Picked the ball off in the endzone) I think Dayton's a good squad and i think that they played a bad game against crosby, but i also think if it were played again crosby would win again. So GL with the playoffs boys we will be the 1 seed in DIV 1 you'll be the one seed in DIV 2 maybe we can both make the district proud?

Also an MVP doesn't make many mistakes, Merka is this and id say that gives him and edge of Viverrete because of his turnover problems. "have to be accounted for on every play" please don't account for Merka and he'll do to everyteam what he did to Galena Park... they didn't spy him and the first play of the game went 45yds... again 163 on 7 carries! (and prolly 150 passing yards for 2 tds, he ran another one in) Another key thing is, if its 4th and short who do you go to... i think in the case of Ploch, and Merka they end up running the ball and they Trust Viverette to throw it... its a difference that might be needed to be noted.

Final... Croby wins by Seven... Merka passes the ball well all game and rushes for an astonishing 163 yards on 7 carries!

Crosby's Defense is amazing this year. Quoting a BH fan "hardest hitting team we've seen all year" WHat makes a great defense... Im going to take the Pitsburgh steelers formula... Stops the run and contains the pass, blitz and gets to the QB and creates Turnovers when they need them... CHeck Check Check check... Crosby D is ferocious... ask Viverette, or Ploch, how hard those cougs hit... or better yet watch it yourself... [Hidden Content] And 4 picks against BH, 4 turnovers against Dayton (anyone wanan tell em we didn't force those ill show you the tape ([Hidden Content]) For all future games everyone should learn throwing the screen pass agaisnt the cougars is mroe liekly to result in a defensive touchdown than and offensive one...

[/quote] I agree hitman!!!  We've got a one year varsity QB,(hence the 4 interceptions) we've got how many Soph. starting?  One of our best defensive players out, two great receivers out, our starting (soph.) runningback out, although Stubbs did a good job.  Every game we've lost (except GCM) we've lost because of inexperienced mistakes, and I'll say GCM game could fall in that category also.  Matt has done a great job and given a 110% effort, but the inexperience shows it's ugly head from time to time.  We used to get by with a one year QB in 3a, but in 4a the talent is bigger,better and faster.  Go ahead and get rid of Price this year and get ready to sacrifice the next couple of years...usually first year coaches, statistically ,don't win when they take over a new program...and our track record hasn't been to good when it come to hiring top notch coaching.  [/quote] Yo yo not fair to those cougars they've picked off everyone... and thats just a knock on your own QB hes better than most don't take anything negative from this loss yall played your butts off and got beat... the cougs gave them 3 chances to mount game winning drive two times you got picked off, one was a 3 and out... givem thier props and don't blame your QB it was hardly his fault yall lost.

I have to give it to BH great teama nd that QB is a load to take down. I will say he needs to watch those CB's who want to jump routes. Crosby Offense was wayyyyyyy to predictable. i think 75% of the plays where the Read option play.... Probably helped that BH knew what we were going to do. (we almost brought 2-4 TD's back for touchdowns but we only got one) Defense played a perfect game for crosby if you edit out the first two drives and that bomb they gave up in the third quarter. I will say V really wanted to get the ball to 88? 55% of the passes went his way... (3 of the pics were passes intended for him) Great game had my heart racing and my pride high at the end of the game.... NOW TIME FOR THE OUTRIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP! BRING ON GALENA!

PAM by quite a few, WB has had a cupcake schedule i see PAM sticking it to them. Nothing breed confidence like big wins and PAM has far more. 56-28 in a shoot out in the first half.

Crosby's two Losses are to the Now #1 and a state top 25 Ennis team, Westbrook has loss to got blown out by Spring westfield, Eisenhower (5-3), Ill give them losing to Katy, also none of thier "great wins" are very impressive. honestly thier predictable they beat the teams they should and the lose to the teams they shouldn't. of course after this week it won't matter you'll either have pam or westbrook falling... judging from what they've done i got PAM in this one.. Ill give PAM an edge on the COugs northshore was a big fish to fry and they did it. Central Beat PAM, yeah good win im pretty sure PAM is a better team now but whatever haven't lost also hasn't really played anyone however... at least westbrook scheduled some good games, also central came very close to losing to Vidor. to say that westbrook would beat crosby is a fallacy. I think it'd be a good game, and yet again another instance of Beaumont bias... I respect the golden triangle i just wish they'd give respect where its due. 2 of the top 6 teams are Crosby and Dayton. Learn your facts and go play football instead of worrying about rankings. Yep in Three weeks ill be routing for everyone left... As Crosby will most likely be division 1 Good lukc Indians ! and whoever else is in the district.
