Many people who got to see Merka play on a game to game Basis understand something you probably don't, in our eyes hes not the MVP because of statistics, hes the MVP because when it was Crunch time he wanted the ball and he almost always delivered (minus an almost impossible 4th an 13 against dawson, fake punt) His stats are good aswell, even with the more yard we had a QB get 7+ YPC, is he the MVP i personally don't think so but Offensive MVP most definitely. PLOCH is my opponion wins the MVP because of his BOTH way preformances good QB play, WR play, RB play, and CB play. As for thinking next year is in the bags for you, id teach my kids how to hold on to the ball before i start talking smack. Also i hope your CB's are all playton Ploch next year because you'll need 8 in the box to stop the Crosby Run game and Im sure that Merka will develop the passing game alot mroe, and our recievers are for the most part juniors. Good luck next year, regardless of the Crosby-Dayton game i hope that its the deciding factor once again in the district championship. As for everyone talking about the pass 9 years Dayton ahs dominated the entire district for about 10 years so anyone other than a DAYTON fan should shut thier CPU down and let the real teas in this district talk.

We had a WR QB Combo in 02? one went to Lousiana Tech the other somewhere else, if i remember right we lsot that game but we made that dayton defense look silly (to bad we didn't have a defense. We had a guy go to UTEP aswell. as for Baylor not counting... Your an idiot. also the reference of "crosby as the Baylor of this area" thier are several problems with this analogy, 1 we've won two district titles in three years. 2) we beat Dayton so get over yourselves... as for BH and GCM beat us before you say anything. In fact BH seems to eb the Baylor of the area... you know exceeding in everything that doesn't matter... Also GCM your to young to even sniff what a rivalry is. Statistics are one thing, beating us next year something completely different... when Dayton can stop Merka let me know... another year older another year bigger and another year of playing QB for the COugars... Ok I need a speed report a true one... because im trying to make an informed decision. This is gonna sound funny but because of realitive size equality, i'll go with Brenham if thier fast, Honestly from what ive seen of Brenham they remind me of Dayton.... no seriously, kinda wierd but they look alot alike, i.e. VERY GOOD DEFENSES, and GOOD individual preformers who play both ways. Key to the Game Keeping Ploch, and Franks Fresh for the offense. No lie I'd Be scared of a Ploch, Franks read option.

Saw the score att the crosby game early, said to my ma they ain't out of it yet. =Pguess i was right.

[/quote] Congrats im conceding your point but i would like to point out that the Coogs wanted Vidor more than Nederland in the first round and Motgomery is a much better team than Waller (granted u blew out waller). Im attributing our Loss to our opponents size... but great game it was simple the Eagles just were bigger, and had lead blocks everywhere, they did a great job of negating the speed of the cougars. The Offense did well this game wish they woulda got that ball back but that 4th down conversion was killer. dawson had 5 drives, (minus one that the 2nd quarter went out on, and the fourth quarter ending drive) and scored 4 TDS, crosby ahd the ball 6 drives and scored 3. If my offense scores 50% of the time i expect to win, but not in this case. FYI we may need to see if this was the quickest game in school history i swear it lasted less than 2 hrs.

As a concerned Texans fan think we could borrow this kids for those Sunday games?
