No your way off if you think Crosby or Dayton is in panic mode. I remember losing about this bad to PNG last year and worse to someone else (63-3) so we are hardly in panic mode... because if i remember right... Central was the only one playing at the same time as cougs and no one was playing same time as Broncos?  Talk to me when playoffs are happening, no one over here cares about Pre-district.

Can we get Lumberton? Crosby would like a warmup for dayton. Its like going from cold water to a frying pan. =P maybe we could go to that luke warm water first. =P

The cougs can stick with good teams if they can play good defense in the second half. Both those "good" teams were within striking distance coming into half time. In the Montgomery game we actually tied the score early in the 3rd quarter, in the PNG game we were down 10-0 but it was slightly unlucky that we were that far down. Could of just as easily been 3-0 3-7 or even 0-14 (2 stalled drives) Also i think your underselling how good those two 4a teams where, in most polls they're considered top 10 teams in the state. If i was making a poll id have that Montgomery team in my top 7 and PNG easily in the top 10 prolly either 9-10. Dayton Lost get over it when it comes down to it if you play dayton 1st round of the playoffs your going to get killed, no matter who you are.

Yeah this game was dumbfounding, cougs had 60 more yards than the Indians in the first half and 0 pts, Both first half scores were because of great field position (1 Cougs did to themselves, other good INT return.)

Dayton crosby are winless but look at the opponents i don't see anyone else going out and playing games like those two teams (minus PNG) Cougs preseason is Montgomery 2nd rnd playoff tm, PNG 10-2 2nd rnd, and Dawson 4th round. You almost literally cant play better teams. Those who think Dayton V. Crosby won't decide the district title are crazy.

gg for the Indians cougs got some ironing to do need to fix those wrinkles but lets be serious thats what these games are for. Defense is pretty decent, until they got tired (we have 0 depth thats evidence in the two second half collapses) This game was extraordinarily close at half time (the cougs offense actually out gained the Indians by 60, but a PICK and a Horrible snap on 4th and 2 gave the Indians a 10-0 lead. 2 things i saw that i didn't agree with in my scanning of post. 1) the cougar defense is pretty good, they are 1) YOUNG 2) have injuries and 3) it was the first pass offense that was efficent they've played in a long time. The DLINE was all JV players. and the SS was freshman B team last year. we started to get better coverage in the third but then it looked like we ran out of gas. Not the indians fault blow anyone out who cant keep up with you later in the game. 2) Merka throwing too hard? Have you seen any college QB throw? i dunno i watch Kase Keenum quite often, id call doms throws soft in comparison, even in short yardage plays. when he throw those looping passes they got picked, better receivers would be nice. But... Congrats Indians yall seems to have quite a team. Lots of depth and talent and most positions. \ FYI for some reason we throw more against indians i don'y get it we are run happy everywhere else.

I dunno Crosby threw the ball lots better last game than before. Should be some throwing. But the trick is we can always run it. No we don't have the same RB, but we do have a pretty good kid i honestly think he had a bad game last week. DLine id worry, LB core seems little unorganized, safeties did good minus one big play (good play call), had a pick also crosby has the advantage in special teams i assure you that. Better kicker, better punter, more likely to get turnovers on special teams (seems like they get one every game) This is gonna be simple. Your gonna watch PNG march the ball then Crosby march the ball. Whoever throws more PICKS loses. period. Love PNG but i can't see our RB having another bad game (after hearing about the Texas City scrimmage) he was dancing too much against the Bears. Crosby's defense has 10x more to prove than PNGS defense, yall got burnt by a good QB, crosby got ran over by Dobbins. interesting to see.

Leeroy Dobbins may be the absolute best RB in all of 4a. Hes another level and us at Crosby had to watch that kid run. I honestly believe he is the fastest RB i've ever seen at the high school leve Nother Note. We the Cougs aren't worried, we always ahve this slow starts hope to see these guys in october/november.

Dobbins is special and its obvious after they were up by 7 they had thier #9 come in and he didnt do much then they put dobbins in and he scores a td on one play it was disturbing how good he was.

But it looked like they quit, whether it was dobbins wearing them down, it looked like 2 big TDS then everyone because really sluggish. Ain't taking anything away from Montgomery but it did look like the d quit on the team this time. But hay its pre-season i remember getting blown out a couple times last year too. The difference this team is better than those were.
