Great Game Cougs battled all night it was strike counter-strike but the cougs always had the ball with the lead, GP had 2x tries at getting ahead, one was picked, the other they elected to punt on 4th and 3 inside their territory. Victory formation and victory dance have occurred. Hold up who said we wouldn't score 50? i have some crow for you Purpleforever.

[/quote] Defense last year wasn't very statistically good until they played the Broncos... granted we had a few excellent players, Cameron trench, and Dylan Judy, and others. Sadly Judy and Trench seemed to shape our teams identity last year, Judy with his sacks and fumbles and Trench with his picks and excellent defense. It looked like the linebacker crew stepped it up 2nd half last week and it looks like the secondary is gonna be good (BIG PLAY IN ENDZONE toward end of game, and not bad throughout)  Defense will be fine i don't know where these conspiracy theories about Merka playing defense are coming from.

Crosby runs the ball with Merka everyother play allready.  Even when Cody Green was playing he could of made the D better but the coaches were smart enough to keep him off D. Im just saying they knew at the beginning of the season he would make the D better but he wasnt in. Something made the coaches change. Maybe an injury IDK but sure sounds like desperation to me. Sam Fowler is a perty good kicker for crosby. And do i get to count the QB stats if your punter is also your QB? if so i think i know who the best punter is. =P

Last year they were a laughing stock, this year they have a legitimate shot to make playoffs and this should be a good game. 15 years history hardly matters on Oct 29th just saying. [/quote] fyi we didnt get our buts beat for 90% of that game, first half CE King little crosby, second half 100% crosby 0% CEKING,  5 offensive drives 4 TD's for cougs in second half. Please don't talk about games you didn't go see. I do agree we have to play a full game against the GP and Dayton, over confidence isn't going to be an issue with Dayton everyone in crosby now knows we CAN beat dayton and those kids are gonna do everything in their power to make it happen.

bleieve we won 2 titles in b-ball in the 70's and in the 40's we went as far as we could as a football team at the team regional champ was as good as it got.

Daytons got a top notch defense no doubt, but its all about matchups in the great game of football. I think overall last year Dayton prolly had a more talented team than Brenham however brenham was disciplined and stopped the big play and dayton eventually allowed turnovers and gave a very efficient Brenham team a chance to win and they did. =P all about matchups and tbh ill take our matchup vs Galena park in some betting odds. For those who think Crosby can't score 35 i say phewy we just scored 28 in a half. =P

Three games previous to Crosby last year. DAYTON 35-0 over North Forest DAYTON 48-14 over GCM DAYTON 48-12 over Kingwood PARK yardage totals RUSH 348 + 151 + 236 PASS 86 + 132 + 80 Your passing game is better but your rushing games not even close to as good. also you were scoring near as many pts last year at this time. fyi Dayton 56 Galena Park 26 that was yalls galena park score last year. I'll grant you have more balance, i also like to point out that Herrera having an 80% completion rating is probably due to 0 pressure on the QB, Screen plays to those talented WR's and lack of total passes. Iunno but thats normally why has qbs have good completion percentages. Answer: we're not sweating in fact we're not even thinking about Dayton because we play GP this week.

[/quote] We're missing our starting LT right now should be back for GP or Dayton. This game was overconfidence in the first half TBH. Cougs didn't come out to play in the first half and it showed. Second Half Cougs played like they won a district title last year. LEE game our entire d line was out so yeah some issue their.
