[/quote] Congrats im conceding your point but i would like to point out that the Coogs wanted Vidor more than Nederland in the first round and Motgomery is a much better team than Waller (granted u blew out waller). Those Dawson boys were darn good and i think the mighty broncos may of had just as hard of a time with them as our coogs, but never the less you amde it one more round so congrats, i guess we will just ahve to give you another butt whooping next year =P

Im attributing our Loss to our opponents size... but great game it was simple the Eagles just were bigger, and had lead blocks everywhere, they did a great job of negating the speed of the cougars. The Offense did well this game wish they woulda got that ball back but that 4th down conversion was killer. dawson had 5 drives, (minus one that the 2nd quarter went out on, and the fourth quarter ending drive) and scored 4 TDS, crosby ahd the ball 6 drives and scored 3. If my offense scores 50% of the time i expect to win, but not in this case. FYI we may need to see if this was the quickest game in school history i swear it lasted less than 2 hrs.

As a concerned Texans fan think we could borrow this kids for those Sunday games?

The Power Rankings this week continue to rank the teams by which one will be playing last. Central draws Friendswood (last years Division I Region III champs), a very tall order to win, the Cougars draw Pearland Dawson (another powerful 24-4A team), and the Broncos draw El Campo, another running team which faces a tall order against the Bronco defense. #1 Dayton - At the beginning of the playoffs, just studying the brackets, Dayton really drew a good spot. If Dayton continues to play good defense look for them to be in the quarter-final game. The doesn't change from last week. If El Campo can't convert some big plays through the air, look for Rice Birds to be on the wrong side of a wood shed beating. #2 Crosby - Should win the area round, but will play Dawson in the following week. The Cougar offense will really have to fire on all cylinders for the Cougars to advance. For all the bickering Fans do on these forums, one thing is undeniable the Crosby Cougars are in the 3rd round of the playoffs for the first time since 1960, i beleive we were the buffalos then. Hats off and Hands down a great job thus far this year. Just a coog fan giving the recognition were it is due.

Will they ever put someone away? Crosby wins yet again in thrilling fashion.
