The good news about playing PNG is their kids are as disciplined as ours. (No cheap shots or trash). The bad news is one of us has to lose. The other good news is that win or lose, we will both make each other better. We need a team that can flat out play some non-wing T offense and they need to play a team with an explosive, score anytime offense. Let the best team win with no injuries to either team. With that said, WOS 39 (we need a kicker) PNG 24( yall have a very good kicker). Lol

Wow.. I have to say a few days ago this was a fun thread.... But it's gone down hill fast.... Nothing of high football intellect.... Honestly, we all know what everyone thinks of each other.... So get back on topic here.... These posts are plain STUPID...... It's all fun and games, but when you start making threats, and bashing people lives, that's just plain ignorance............ So on the real, keep it real... If you want to joke, that's cool, but there is a difference between calling someone Tatoo from fantasy Island, and talking about someones real life........ Whether it's true or not....... I'm not a moderator of this board, but I know as an adult when enough is enough......

Motivation.

The 4-3 adorned the field today. I love seeing it back. THey looked good alot harder to understand the defense playing without pads on. They were quick should be pretty good this season. The difference in McZeal was his hands. He was catching the ball very softly today. Last season he was stiff with his hands. Looked like he was catching eggs out there today. Very soft hands. He is gonna be a heck of a player this and next season. All of the recievers looked way ahead of the game. Thanks 7 on 7

Lamar Cardinals I think are finally realizing our area in TALENT.  Mr. Randle last year and now Mr. Morse. This indeed is a steal, this kid is a leader on the field. He directs the  offense, can read defense. But most of all carries himself with the grace of his PARENTS within him. So congrats to him to his parents and the Cardinals.

Congrats to him! And....told you so. I had to say that again.

​the last couple of times I heard that reference it turned out bad for SC in the 2nd round of the playoffs two years straight, I hope he didn't just indirectly curse Crosby.

How does your team look for 2015? ....isn't that what the title of this thread is?  Voice your opinion about your team, quit responding to the Crosby posters if you don't like what they are saying....they will figure it out when they don't get the attention they are looking for.  Honestly, been going on since December .... smh ..... come on people! 
 
 
As for Nederland ..... I don't know how successful our team will be next season, but I can predict that those kids will return and give it all they got under the Friday Night Lights!!!  

Like I've said multiple times, even before last season started, Morse is the best QB prospect in this area. Just be patient and the offers will start pouring in. Lamar is just the beginning.

The coaches should hustle for the kids, but we know that all coaches don't do that. Don't leave it up to them. If you are your child's biggest fan and supporter, then do the same thing you do on Friday night when you been drinking those adult sodas. Run your mouth! Instead of running it to a guy two rows back, run it to the recruiters. They will give honest feedback at clinics. As a parent, I feel it's my job to give my child the best opportunity to get a scholarship. That means ensuring his grades are top notch, making sure he's working hard during the off season, taking him to clinics, etc. When they told me at the clinic my son is good enough to get a scholarship but it won't be a big school like Texas I accepted that and kept pushing him. I always told him to not let anyone outwork him and the coaches routinely confirmed that with me. He got his scholarship despite playing second string to a much hyped player his entire varsity career. That other player who got looked at by all the "big schools" received 0 offers.
 
Everyone wants to go on stage and feel like a peacock on signing day. I love to see kids from this area signing because I appreciate all the work that they put in to get there. Everyone wants to be rewarded for their hard work.  I always believed that you need to take control of your own future and not leave it to someone else. Leaving your child's future to the coaches (and teachers for that matter) is like giving the government all your money and trusting them to provide you with the things you need to live. Who does that?
